Year 1 Site Statistics

Hey guys, Justin here and welcome to the Otaku Mind. This month’s Otaku Mind is gonna be a quick one as we’re celebrating the one year anniversary of the site. For some of you who don’t know it was one year ago from June 26th that I decided to take a risk on myself and start my own site. While site was open officially in July, I started working on the site on June 26th. First off, I just want to thank everyone out there who has supported me from the beginning and who have visited the site. Whether it’s multiple times or just one time it really means a lot to me. When I first started the site I had a few doubts because blogging sites really don’t get that many visitors or attention but you guys have shown me that with hard and patience you can make something great. So, for this Otaku Mind I wanted to share with you some site statistics.

I must admit this really did surprise me. Almost half of this list is composed of blogs that haven’t even been up for a year while the other half is composed of some of my much older work from year 2 & 3. I like it, I’m glad to know you guys like the new and old stuff. Speaking of surprises, we passed all of the goals I set for the site when I first began. Yeah, some of these goals might be me underestimating a site but you’ve got to remember this is my first time managing and creating a site, and measuring a site’s success is very subjective. Some focus on the money they make off their site, others focus on content and number of comments made. For me, I’m more concerned about getting my name out there and reaching people, because I know that if I can get you to read my content you’ll enjoy yourself and come back for more which some of you have done quite bit. I do wish you guys would comment more but I’m not gonna force that. You guys will comment when you want to comment and when you do I look forward to talking to you. In my personal opinion, the site has been doing great and I look forward to continuing on it. Once again guys I wanna say thanks for sticking with me, helping me reach my goals, and just checking out my content. I know my blogs can be long at times (hell, even I shock myself with how long they are), but I’m a detailed person and want to pull you guys into the anime with me and make my blogs different from your basic blogs. Well guys that’ll do it for now. Thanks for reading, I’ll be sure to do a good Otaku Mind for next month, I hope you enjoyed this information, enjoy your summer, and I’ll see you next time on Project Nitsuj.
