Not gonna lie, making this list seems to get harder almost every year. I feel like I’ve named all the hottest females in anime out, but then I go back and find new ones to fawn over. No doubt the second prettiest grim reaper I’ve seen (love ya Calli). For a lot of boys in the 90s and 2000s who were discovering anime, Botan may have been their first anime crush. Serving as Yusuke’s supporter and caretaker, Botan won our affection by showing how much she cared about the young troublemaker and sticking by him through thick and thin situations. Despite being the incarnation of death, she was always gentle, sweet, and kind with everyone she met and had a smile that would melt your heart. Also, give her credit for looking good in just about everything she wore. Sweet, kind, cute, and supportive. Botan is definitely girlfriend material.

Rather than cause riots and pick just one sister I decided to be fair and pick all of them. Whatever your thoughts may be on who the MC ended up with in the series, there’s no denying each sister was cute and had their own personality that you liked and gravitated toward. Ichika, the hardworking but wise oldest sister who always puts her siblings before herself. Nino, the fashionista who is tough on the outside but incredibly gentle and sweet on the inside, afraid of being left behind. Miku, the shy but smart middle sister who always gives it her best. Yotsuba, the athletic one who is always energetic and ready to help out others. Finally, Itsuki, the responsible little sister trying to keep everyone in line. While Ichika was my top pick, I could see myself dating each of the sisters and being happy. Life wouldn’t be boring with any of them/

A relatable and cute character any guy would be lucky to date. Along with being cute, she’s funny, a hard worker, and has her own hidden abilities that I think are cool. As someone who sometimes struggles to go to the gym due to work and other things, I feel that Hibiki would be a great motivator to help me stay in shape and vice-versa. We wouldn’t try to get majorly jacked but just enough where we would be happy with our bodies and then gouge on our favorite meals together. Keeping pushing yourself to limits my gym waifu.

Don’t let her title fool you. Seiko is a stunning beauty and just like the finest wine is only better with age. What makes Seiko so great is that even though she has the looks and body fashion models dream of having, she’s got this mature and mystical charm to her as well as a confident demeanor and attitude that makes her the coolest person you’ve ever seen and want to learn more about. Despite a lifetime of fighting spirits and curses, Seiko is surprisingly chill, hilarious, and kind. The Seven Deadly Sins series has no shortage of attractive females and Merlin may be the hottest of the bunch.

A good person trapped in the body of a hot demon. In the midst of this comedy comes Heine a proud demon who despite giving off dangerous vibes is a sweet person who cares about her comrades and even shows sympathy to the enemies she’s defeated. She can be domineering and commanding but also gullible and cute at the same time. Hot body with a cute personality to boot. It’s a combination I always love to see and it suits this character perfectly.

The cast of Sonic was never really known for their sex appeal in the early days, but that all changed with the arrival of Rouge who dialed the sex appeal up to 11. If Lola Bunny didn’t make you furry than Rouge sure as hell did. When she first appeared, boys couldn’t stop staring at her. She was different from the other females in the Sonic cast. She was a thief who’s loyalty lies to the side that benefitted her the most and knew she had a body she could use to her benefit. Since her appearance, there have been other female characters in the franchise who have played up their sex appeal but Rouge remains at the top. She started it and she’s go on to become a fan favorite because of her looks and personality.

The life of the party wherever she goes. Sure to catch everyone’s attention no matter what she does, Azusa is that one female in the group who you see as one of the guys. She’s the kind of woman who’s up for anything. Whether striping naked with the guys, downing some beers and sake, and flirting with anyone that catches her eyes, her brazen personality will allow her to do it and you’ll enjoy her company no matter what. Bisexual and not afraid to be herself, Azusa reminds us to live life to the fullest with no regrets.

Anime has no shortage of femme fatales, but the one who started it all is Fujiko. At a time when anime was still young, and female characters had certain archetypes at the time, Fujiko broke the mold and showed us that females can be both smart and conniving but also beautiful and seductive. She showed Japan that just like male characters can be multi-faucet, so too can female characters. If not for Fujiko the female characters of anime would look a lot different today and while I’m sure someone else would have came in to fill in the roll of Fujiko I don’t think they would have had as much impact as her and wouldn’t have been able to pull it off as well as she did.

Well I never thought another Bleach character would pop-up on the list but here we are. Having an effortless charm that turns heads and makes any man crazy, Rangiku is a walking distraction and she knows it, which makes me love her for it all the more. While Yoruichi keeps her flirting to a minimum, Rangiku goes all out to get what she wants. Nobody is safe from her. Despite her flirty and curvy body, Rangiku has the perfect personality as well. She can hold her own in the fight, but would much rather spend her day enjoying a nice drink and living a carefree life. She’s fiercely loyal to those she cares about and always there to offer an ear to hear their worries or a shoulder to cry on when things become too much for them. Beautiful, playful, carefree, loyal, and a fun person to be around. Rangiku remains one of the hottest females in anime.
