Chapter 9: Fight Night

*A few hours after Dust, Ryuuji, Raika, and Jin left to go save Sanada and Sera in Messner Village, Morgan was in a conference room drinking some tea with Amarti, Zia, and Morrison*

(Amarti): Ahh~, it certainly is quiet around here today. It’s almost deafening. I’m starting to miss the rowdy bunch.

(Morrison): You never know what you miss until it’s gone.

(Zia): Well, not all of the rowdy ones are gone.

*Jade comes busting into the room with a frustrated look on her face*

(Jade): I’m booooooored~! Give me something fun to do.

(Morgan): What happened to the shiny ball I gave you earlier?

*Morgan begins to sip his tea*

(Jade): Don’t patronize me! It only provided me with five minutes of fun before I accidently destroyed it. Ugh~, I should have gone with the others. Why didn’t you come and get me?

(Morgan): It’s your own fault for not telling us where you were. You have only yourself to blame.

(Jade): Fine, whatever. Just give me something to do to rid me of my boredom.

(Amarti): I may have something that might interests you. It concerns an investigation I asked Dust to look into.

(Morrison): Is this about that mugging he did downtown? He talked about it earlier. What was all that about?

(Amarti): Good question. Zia, you know more about it than I do. Please bless us with your knowledge.

(Zia): One of the girls in Le Garden heard from a client that there was an underground fight club set up in downtown.

(Morrison): A fight club?

(Zia): Yes. Wealthy men and women gather to place bets on fighters from all over the kingdom.

(Morgan): So it’s essentially an illegal gambling ring.

(Morrison): Any idea who’s in charge?

(Amarti): Some guy by the name of Adrian Wicker according to Dust. Name ring a bell to anyone?

(Morgan): Unfortunately, yes. He’s the son of Ivo Wicker, CEO of Wicker Motors. A privileged spoiled brat who thinks he can do whatever he wants.

(Morrison): Interesting. How do you know him?

(Morgan): He used to be a student at Brister University. He took my class and failed.

(Amarti): I take it he wasn’t a model student?

(Morgan): Hell no! That kid was always causing trouble on campus. He would destroy property, fight other students, and once tried to assault a girl he was supposedly dating. Whenever he got into any deep trouble, he would just take out his checkbook and write a check not caring about the consequences. I heard he dropped out a few months ago.

(Jade): And apparently he found a way to pass the time. You think his dad knows about this?

(Zia): I’m sure he does but doesn’t care. Either way, we need to shut this place down before it gets out of control.

(Morgan): Where do we find this place?

(Amarti): The venue changes on a nightly basis, so finding them will be difficult. Thankfully, Dust’s persuasion managed to find where they’ll be battling tonight. He’s hosting an all-female tournament to find out who the toughest woman in Brister is. Women from all over Brister’s underbelly will be there to win the prize money and a lot of rich individuals as well.

*Jade gets a gleeful smile*

(Jade): This job is sounding even more fun by the minute. Count me in for the tournament.

(Zia): I’ll also enter to back you up.

(Morrison): That works out fine. Jade and Zia will entertain the audience, while Amarti and Morgan catch the ringleader. I’d wish you luck, but honestly, I’m more worried about the other fighters in the tournament.

***

*It’s nighttime in the Kingdom of Brister where lights are shining in downtown. The streets are loud with people on dates or getting off of work chatting with each other, diners and restaurants packed, and street performers are entertaining people. In an undisclosed building, a bunch of dangerous and strong looking women descend some stairs to enter the building. As they enter the building, a young man with slicked-back purple hair and green eyes wearing a long-sleeved buttoned blue shirt and grey pants welcomes them into the building. Standing beside him are two large muscular rhino demihumans that are twins. Both guys have short grey hair and eyes, a grey tail and a horn in the center of their forehead. They’re both wearing purple business suits with black shirts and purple ties*

(Purple-haired man): Welcome ladies, so glad you could all be here tonight.

(???): Excuse me, is this the entrance for the fight club?

*The purple-haired man turns his attention in the direction of the voice he just heard. He gets a stunned look on his face as he sees Zia and Jade where he was hypnotized by their beauty and looks. Zia had her hair tied up in a ponytail and wore blue denim short shorts, a white no-sleeve top with a blue hooded no-sleeve short jacket, blue gloves, long white socks that covered ¾ of her legs, and blue shoes. Jade wore a similar attire, except her short shorts were black, her top was red with a black hooded no-sleeve short jacket, red gloves, no socks and no shoes. Jade had her hood up to cover her ears as the two ladies approached the building. Behind them are Amarti and Morgan each wearing a suit. Amarti’s suit was black with white stripes and an orange shirt. He also wore a black top hat with a white feather. Morgan wore a blue suit with a white shirt and glasses with purple frames*

(Purple-haired man): Why, yes it is ladies. I am Adrian Wicker, host of tonight’s event. How may I assist you?

(Jade): Great, we’re here to sign up for the tournament. Names Jax, this is my partner Rosa.

(Zia): We’re mercenaries passing through when we heard about this tournament. If you’re looking for tough fighters you won’t find anyone tougher than us.

(Adrian): I see. And who you might you two be?

(Amarti): Hi there, name’s Cash Dealer and this is my partner Colt Hardwood. We represent Miss Jax and Rosa. I guarantee you these ladies will deliver a better show than these other women you invited tonight.

(Adrian): That’s quite the bold claim.

*Adrian turns his attention to Morgan and stares at him for a little bit*

(Adrian): Have we met? You look familiar.

(Morgan): Uh no. I’m new in town.

(Adrian): That so? Must have just been my imagination.

*Adrian turns his attention back to Jade and Zia*

(Adrian): I’m sorry ladies, but we already have enough fighters for tonight. Maybe we could-

*Before Adrian could finish his sentence, Zia and Jade grabbed two women who were about to enter the building. One was a muscular cat demihuman with black hair and the other was a short woman with brown hair who had half of her face painted like a skull. Zia grabbed the short woman by the head and kneed her directly in the head to instantly knock her out as she went flying backwards. Jade on the other hand struck the cat demihuman with a back elbow to the jaw to send her falling to the ground unconscious. Adrian watched this with a calm expression impressed by what he just saw*

(Adrian): Well, it looks like two openings just became available. How would you ladies like to join us?

(Jade): We’d like that.

*Jade offers her hand to Adrian who kisses it happily*

(Adrian): Warlow, Miro. Please show these ladies and their managers to the waiting room.

(Warlow and Miro): Yes sir!

*The two rhino demihumans get to the front and back of the group as they show them where the waiting room is. The demihumans lead them down a hall and into an elevator where they go down a few floors. They exit the elevator and head down another hall where they stop at a door on the right*

(Warlow): Right this way ladies. Please wait in here until it’s time to fight.

*Warlow opens the door to reveal a room full of tough, muscular, and dangerous looking women either sitting around, standing, or doing stretches. There was a tv monitor hanging from the wall showing the arena filling up. Jade and Zia walk in with Amarti and Morgan trying go in as well, but get stopped by Warlow*

(Warlow): Sorry, only fighters beyond this point. You guys will have to make your way to the arena.

(Morgan): No problem. Best of luck out there Jax. Try not to have too much fun out there.

*Jade nods and goes to sit down while Zia walks back to the door and stares at Amarti with wanting eyes*

(Amarti): Is there something you need Rosa?

(Zia): Can I have a kiss for good luck?

*Zia begins to lean down to Amarti’s face for a kiss before he puts his finger on her nose to stop her*

(Amarti): Win the tournament first and we’ll do something even more than just kiss.

(Zia): You mean-

(Amarti): Yes. This is all assuming you win.

*Zia’s face begins to turn red as she gets an excited look on her face*

(Zia): Yes! I’ll be sure to win tonight.

*Zia walks back into the room happily to sit next to Jade. Warlow closes the door as him and Miro lead Amarti and Morgan back to the elevator*

(Morgan): You truly are a disgusting individual.

(Amarti): What? I believe in rewarding people who do a great job.

(Morgan): I just hope you have enough stamina to keep up with her.

(Amarti): Oh please. They don’t call me the All-Night Express for nothing.

*Amarti and Morgan enter the elevator and head back up to the arena*

***

*Amarti and Morgan were in their seats in the arena which were overlooking the ring down below which had a cage put up so the fighters couldn’t escape one another. A jumbotron could be seen above to give the audience a closer look at the action going on inside. A few of the fights had already gone by with fans cheering, but none of the fights or fighters were impressing Amarti and Morgan. Instead, the two were surveying the arena and taking into account all of the nobles, officials, and business associates who were in attendance. They also managed to pinpoint Adrian who was watching the action from his personal booth being guarded by Walter and Miro while surrounded by an entourage of friends*

(Announcer): Next up is the dark elf huntress Layla taking on our last-minute entry Rosa the elf mercenary.

*The crowd cheers in excitement while workers begin to walk down the stairs accepting bets for the next match*

(Worker): Now taking bets for the next match! Place your bets here!

*Amarti raises his hand*

(Amarti): Ten thousand credits on Rosa.

(Morgan): What?

(Amarti): Hey, as long as we’re here we might as well make some money off them. I thought for sure you’d be excited for this. After all, *snarky smile* I’ve heard professors don’t make nearly enough money as they should.

*Amarti’s statement stung Morgan as he was right. While Morgan got paid a decent wage from the university, he knew he deserved more for his time and workload. He also received pay from the Black Tortoise Order, but it was low pay as he was considered a part-timer just like Amarti and Zia. The three of them would come in for missions and nothing else seeing as how they had their own job professions. The only difference being the fact that Amarti and Zia had job professions that made more money than Morgan. With reluctance, Morgan pulled out his wallet and took out a few bills*

(Morgan): Three thousand on the mercenary.

*Amarti and Morgan handed their money over to the worker who accepted their bets and went on to collect more bets. Down in the ring, Zia and Layla had entered and were in their respective corners. Layla was a fairly lean and muscular dark elf with medium spikey hair that was orange and blue eyes. She had on leather black pants and matching black sleeveless top. The ref calls for both ladies to come toward the center of the ring where the two stare down each other*

(Ref): I want a good clean fight ladies. The match is over when the other one admits defeat or is unable to battle. Other than that, anything goes. Let’s get it on!

*The ref calls for the bell as Layla gets into a boxing stance while Zia puts her hands behind her back with an expressionless look on her face*

(Layla): What is this? You a masochist looking to get your ass kicked from the get-go? Come on, let’s give these people a fight.

*Zia continues to stand there expressionless not saying a word with her hands still behind her back. A few people in the crowd begin to boo her for not taking the fight seriously and even Layla gets a little irritated*

(Layla): Fine. If that’s the way you want it, I’ll end this quick and painlessly as possible.

*As Layla lunges toward Zia to hit a knockout punch, Zia delivers a swift and agile roundhouse kick to Layla’s chin. Layla hits the ground face first barely conscious and struggling to get back up. The kick was so powerful and accurate that it rattled her entire body. Zia bends down to check on Layla where she sees she’s still conscious and lifts her back up with her foot. Zia lifts Layla back to her feet where she can barely stand by herself and was defenseless*

(Zia): I’m sorry. I meant to go for the knockout blow, but I was a few centimeters off the mark. I’ll correct that now.

*Zia delivers another roundhouse kick to Layla where this time she’s completely knocked out and falls to the ground like a pile of bricks*

(Ref): Knockout! The winner is Rosa.

*The crowd cheers for Zia as she exits the ring while the medical staff carries Layla away.

(Announcer): Woah! Totally unexpected! Remind me not to run into her in a dark alley. Next match is the wildly adventurous fireflower, Hua Meiying against our second last-minute entry of the night the wolf mercenary Jax.

*As the crowd continues to cheer, Zia enters a tunnel that will lead her back to the locker room, where she sees Jade making her way to the ring*

(Jade): Nice work out there. I’ll see you in the finals.

(Zia): Don’t keep me waiting too long. Good luck out there.

*Zia and Jade high five at each other as they passed one another. Jade enters the ring and sees her opponent is a young human girl with long frilly red hair as red as fire with strands of yellow hair as well. She had purple eyes that matched the purple bandana tied around her neck and had her hands taped. She had on black pants and shoes, and a yellow t-shirt that had a black dragon breathing fire on it. Jade and Hua stare at each other excitedly as the ref calls them to the center of the ring*

(Ref): Same thing as the last fight ladies. Keep it clean, anything goes, don’t hold anything back. Let’s get it on!

*The ref calls for the bell where immediately, Jade delivers a shotgun dropkick which surprises Hua who goes flying into one of the corners of the ring falling down and dazed by Jade’s attack. Jade does a kip-up to return to her feet and capitalizes on Hua by doing a running hesitation dropkick on Hua in the corner of the ring. Jade rolls backwards to return to her feet and walks backwards to the corner diagonally across from where Hua is lying. Jade slams her hands on the mat, lets out a scream and charges full force at Hua to deliver another hesitation dropkick to her. Jade rolls backwards to land in the middle of the ring back on her feet as the ref goes to check on Hua to see if she can still fight*

(Ref): Knockout! The winner is, Jax.

*Jade raises her fist in the air as the crowd cheers and is shocked by what they saw*

(Announcer): Holy shit! One of the favorites to win this tournament has been taken out. What an upset. I’m sure this is going to hurt a lot of people’s wallets.

***

*The tournament moved on to the next rounds where Zia and Jade were the highlights. The two ladies won their matches dominantly and making Amarti, Morgan and anyone else smart enough to bet on them rich people. Amarti had won over five hundred and fifty thousand credits while Morgan had won three hundred and thirty thousand credits. It was now time for the finals where it was Zia against Jade. The crowd was cheering loudly for this match-up and all bets were being collected where Amarti and Morgan weren’t bet anything on this match*

(Amarti): This is going to be a good match. Any predictions?

(Morgan): Hmm~, this is a tough one. Zia has the faster strikes, but in terms of strength and experience Jade has the advantage. By the way, ready to go get Adrian?

(Amarti): Yeah, I made enough money for one night. Let’s go get our man before those two kill each other.

*Amarti and Morgan get up from their seats. Meanwhile, in the ring below, the ref had called Zia and Jade to the center of the ring where they lock eyes with each other. Before the bell could even be rung, Zia ran towards the side of the ring followed by Jade chasing after her. Zia leaps onto the cage and jumps backwards trying to hit Jade with a cutter, but Jade catches her. Jade lifts Zia onto her shoulders and drops her where Zia lands on her feet and Jade attempts to hit her with a roundhouse kick only to miss. With Jade’s back turned, Zia pushes her into the cage where she stops short. Zia runs toward Jade who grabs the arm of Zia and attempts to fling her into the cage, but Zia does a 180 flip in the air to land her feet on the cage and jumps off the cage dragging Jade’s arm with her. Zia lands on the ground back first and tries to arm drag Jade to hit the ground as well, but Jade counters with a handstand and lands on her feet while Zia returns to her feet. Jade turns around to see Zia running towards her where she attempts to kick Zia with a high kick only to miss as Zia fell to her knees to slide underneath Jade’s attack. Zia does a handstand to catch Jade in a head scissors takedown, but Jade counters by doing a handstand of her own and flips back to her feet. Zia returns to her feet after seeing Jade escape her head scissors and Jade attempts to hit Zia with a running hurricanrana only for Zia to land on her feet. Zia attempts to hit Jade with a running hurricanrana of her own but Jade also lands on her feet. The two have a standoff with each other as the crowd cheers in amazement at the fast-paced action. Both ladies take off their short jackets, toss them to the side and run towards each other trying to punch the other. Their fists collide with one another as they grit their teeth before attempting to punch each other again. Both ladies dodged each other’s punches until Zia almost hit the side of Jade’s head near the ear, but Jade protected herself. Jade manages to hit Zia’s chest with a thrust kick which staggers her. Jade moves in for the kill only to stop as she starts to feel dizzy and her vision becomes blurry. Zia’s attack on Jade’s head was so hard that it threw her semicircular canal out of whack. This caused her to feel dizzy and threw her off balance. With Jade completely defenseless, Zia hits her with a roundhouse kick to the jaw, but Jade stayed on her feet refusing to fall. Zia hits Jade with another roundhouse kick to the jaw and this time Jade falls to the ground on her side with blood dripping from her mouth. The crowd begins to cheer thinking it’s over, but Zia knew differently. The ref was going to check on Jade to see if she could continue, but Zia stops him by putting her arm out to block his path*

(Zia): Don’t bother. If this was a normal person the fight would have been over already. Rise up Rosa, I know that wasn’t enough to finish you.

*Jade begins to laugh as she slowly rises to her feet while wiping the blood from her mouth*

(Jade): Very good. Very good, Zia. This is why I love hanging out with you guys. You guys are the only ones who can surpass all of my expectations and keep me amused. I have always felt a strong kinship with the members of our order, but I think I have the strongest kinship with you than the others. You and I will outlive the others because of who we are. Our potential is truly limitless.

(Zia): With all due respect. I feel that I could train a lifetime and yet I still wouldn’t come close to matching your strength and fighting prowess. However, that won’t stop me from defeating you right here and now.

*Zia and Jade clash with each other in the middle of the ring trading strikes with each other as the crowd cheers them on*

***

*While Zia and Jade were giving each other the fight of their lives, Amarti and Morgan managed to make it outside of Adrian’s booth. They were met with little to no resistance and the only ones standing between them and Adrian was Warlow and Miro*

(Warlow): Excuse me, gentlemen. This place is off limits to unauthorized personal.

(Morgan): Roger. If we see anyone suspicious we’ll let you know.

(Miro): We were talking about you.

*Miro takes out a walkie*

(Miro): Security, we have a situation at our location. Requesting back up.

(Amarti): Don’t bother. We saw a few security guards on the way here and they were napping on the job. You guys might want to invest in better security guards.

(Warlow): Alright.

*Miro puts the walkie down and removes his jacket along with Warlow*

(Amarti): Alright. Steak or ham?

(Morgan): Sorry, but I’m on a diet.

(Amarti): Very well. But you’re taking care of Adrian.

(Morgan): Fair enough.

*Morgan walks over to the side taking out his phone and leaves Amarti to fight against Warlow and Miro*

(Warlow): Aww, baby came out to play.

*Warlow and Miro laugh at Amarti. Warlow’s laughter soon gets interrupted by a breaker disc to the side of the face which sends him to the ground still conscious. The sudden attack on Warlow stops Miro from laughing as he sees twelve breaker discs flying around Amarti. The breaker disc that attacked Warlow comes flying back to Amarti*

(Amarti): It’s not wise to look down on baby.

*Warlow gets back up and begins charging at Amarti like a wild rhino*

(Amarti): Chakai!

*Amarti holds out his left hand in front of him and thirteen breaker discs go flying towards Miro who was confident that his muscular body could withstand Amarti’s attack. What he didn’t know was that the blades on the disc were made from Reindium. The breaker disc slashed through Warlow causing blood to go flying from his body because of the opened wounds. Warlow passed out on his feet before hitting the ground stomach first and landing just short of Amarti who walks past him and turns his attention to Miro who stood there shocked at what he saw*

(Amarti): How about you? Do we look suspicious?

(Miro): No sir! Head on in.

*Morgan walks past Amarti and Miro to enter Adrian’s booth. Adrian was too distracted by the fight to sense Morgan’s presence*

(Morgan): You seem to be enjoying the fight, Adrian.

*Adrian turns his head to see Morgan standing behind him unamused*

(Adrian): Hey~ Colt Hardwood. Hey, thank you for such a great main event. Your clients are killing it down there. We need to talk business. What does your men clientele look like?

(Morgan): You still don’t remember me? Perhaps this will jog your memory. You failed my history class Mr. Ivo.

*Adrian takes a second to think before realization appears on his face*

(Adrian): Professor Morgan? I knew you looked familiar. Oh shit, you’re a knight!

(Morgan): Correct, and I’m arresting you for illegal gambling.

(Adrian): Not if I can help it.

*Adrian pulls out a nunchunk and does a few simple tricks with them to show off his skills. The nunchunks shoot out sparks of lightning while Adrian does his tricks. Morgan stands there unamused and not impressed*

(Adrian): Ha! Did my skills scare you, professor? You’re looking at a guy who placed eighth place in nationals during high school.

(Morgan): *Chuckles* With those moves, I can see why.

*Morgan takes out his wand and concentrates to gather magic while a summoning circle appears right by him*

(Morgan): Summon: Ice Boxer!

*the summoning circle begins to glow as an ice spirit rises from the ground wearing blue boxing gloves with matching blue trunks and blue headgear*

(Ice Boxer): Woyo!

*The magic circle disappears as the ice spirit puts its gloves up ready to fight*

(Adrian): WAHAHAHA! What is this? You seriously think this pipsqueak is going to beat me?

*Adrian walks to the spirit and swings his nunchunk at it where the spirit sidesteps the attack and begins to shuffle its feet taunting Adrian. Adrian takes exception to this and once again takes a swing at the spirit with his nunchunk only to miss once again as the spirit sidesteps him and continues to shuffle its feet. Adrian takes one more swing at the spirit who jumps in the air to be at eye level with Adrian and delivers a left hook to Adrian’s right cheek. Adrian stays standing for a few seconds before falling to the ground unconscious. The spirit raises its hand triumphantly in the air while standing over the body of Adrian*

(Ice Boxer): Woyo!

(Morgan): Impressive form.

*Amarti enters the booth*

(Morgan): Ready to bring this evening to a close?

(Amarti): Of course.

*Amarti takes out a laser pen and flashes it down towards the ring. In the ring Zia and Jade were still fighting each other and exhausted. They were sweating and breathing heavily, but smiling at each other*

(Jade): Damn it, elf. You are making this too much fun to stop.

(Zia): I can’t lie, I’m enjoying myself as well. Unfortunately, it’s time to end this.

*Zia points to the flashing laser being seen from Adrian’s booth*

(Jade): Oh come on, let’s go for two more minutes.

(Zia): Jade~, you had your fun. Let’s do our job. We can pick this up at a later day.

(Jade): *Sigh* Okay.

*Both ladies lower their fists, walk towards each other and shake hands before hugging. This confused and upset the crowd. They all start to boo as Jade goes for a mic*

(Jade): Ladies and gentlemen, we’ve decided to call this match a draw. But don’t worry, you won’t be leaving empty handed. You all just won a free trip to the White Tiger precinct for engaging in illegal gambling.

*As if on cue, White Tiger Knights came busting into the arena ordering everyone to stay in their seats. Some people tried to run away, but were quickly tackled and placed in handcuffs*

***

*Two hours later, in the suburbs of Brister, there was a three-story mansion complete with a security gate and well-maintained lawn and scrubs. In the master bedroom the sounds of pleasurable moans can be heard from a woman. A silhouette of Zia lying on her back with Amarti on top of her can be seen*

(Zia): Oh yes! Master Amarti! More! Give me more!

(Amarti): Tell me where you want it, Zia.

(Zia): Hmm~, lower. Lower! Yes! That’s the spot! I can’t hold it much longer!

(Amarti): And now for the finish.

(Zia): AHHHHHHHHHHHHH~!

*Zia falls back first on the bed wearing a white bathrobe that hugged her body nicely and panting heavily with a blush on her face. Amarti heads toward the bathroom to wash his hands and change into his pajamas*

(Zia): *Panting heavily* That was amazing, master Amarti.

(Amarti): I know. I could tell from the screams. Good thing I made these walls soundproof. Must you always scream so loud?

(Zia): I can’t help it. Your massages are simply divine. It feels even better after my fight with Jade.

(Amarti): I imagine.

*Amarti comes out of the bathroom wearing a purple buttoned t-shirt and matching pajama pants. He goes to lie down next to Zia while sitting up*

(Zia): Thank you, master Amarti. It truly was wonderful.

*Amarti smiles and pats Zia on the head making her purr like a kitten*

(Amarti): It was my pleasure. You did a wonderful job tonight as always. So, were you intending to sleep in that bathrobe tonight?

(Zia): Actually, I was hoping I could give you a reward as well. You’ve been so busy getting the club up and running.

*Zia shifted her body where she was hoovering right above Amarti giving him a good view of her breast. She sits up on her knees untying the sash and pulling the bathrobe off her body exposing her naked beauty to Amarti. She bends back to where her face was only a few inches away from Amarti’s face. She rubs her right hand down the cheek of Amarti to entice him*

(Zia): I think you could use a good stress reliever tonight.

(Amarti): *Chuckles* The things I do for one spoiled elf.

*That was all Zia needed to go in for the kiss as her tongue battled with Amarti’s while she began to unbutton his shirt. Amarti reached over to his bedside table to press a button which turned off the lights in the room. About a minute or so the room was filled with the sound of bedsprings and pleasurable moaning from Amarti and Zia*

Author’s Notes: And another chapter down. Hoped you guys enjoyed this chapter. I wanted to show that while one group was doing their own thing another group was doing their own thing as well. Two separate stories that were unrelated going on at the same time. What did you guys think of the preview fight between Jade and Zia? I finally got the chance to show off Zia’s fighting prowess that puts her on the same level as Jade. I’ve already established that aside from Jin the members of Shadow Eye are in a league of their own, but what would happen if they were to face each other? The answer, an epic fight and I hope to return to this idea down the line. We also got to see Amarti show off. Just like Morgan he leans more towards the sorcery and long range attacks. His fighting style is more about strategy and outsmarting his opponents rather than overpowering them. We’ll be taking a break from the fighting next chapter and focusing on Jin and his future. Thanks for reading once again and I’ll see you next time.
