Hello everyone. Nitsuj here and welcome to the side blog. The blogs between the blogs. Well the trees are beginning to change colors. The weather is becoming more pleasant and children are back in school which means fall is finally here. And that means it’s time for First Impression, that time of the season where we take a look at the anime set come out this fall and give my initial thoughts on it. The summer anime was decent. Classroom of the Elite, Made in Abyss and Overlord have been great. Danmachi is finally taking its time, Call of the Night and The Devil is a Part-Timer have been enjoyable, and Utawarerumono is an underrated series that deserves way more attention. With that said, let’s get started. These are the Fall 2022 First Impressions.
Chainsaw Man
So we start off with the most anticipated anime this season. First up Chainsaw Man the rated R shonen series. Watching it.
SpyxFamily 2nd Course
The second half of SpyxFamily. If you liked the first half you’re going to enjoy the second half. Watching it.
Mob Psycho 100 S3
After years of waiting, Mob Psycho is back for it’s final season. Watching it.
My Hero Academia S6
Returning back to Shonen Jump, MHA returns for its 6th season. Watching it.
Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War
Bleach is back and I could careless. I’m sorry to all the Bleach fans out there, but I just never really got into this series. Skipping it.
Bluelock
A soccer anime about Japan’s national team looking for an ace. Not watching.
To Your Eternity S2
Second season of this great series. Watching it.
Uzaki-chan Wants to Hang Out S2
The second season of the girl with the big boobs. Watching it.
The Eminence in Shadow
Our first isekai anime of the season. Instead of becoming a hero known to the public, the main character decides to save society from the shadows. He becomes the leader of an underground organization making up a dark cult that they fight against and control society from the shadows. However, to his shock, there is a dark cult and they’re pissed that he’s interfering with their plans. Watching it.
Welcome to Demon School! Iruma-kun S3
The third season of Iruma. While not the best it is a fun and enjoyable anime that everyone likes. Watching it.
Urusei Yatsura 2022
One of the OGs of ecchi animes. It’s coming back to impact a new generation. Watching it.
Reincarnated as a Sword
A man gets reincarnated as a sword and helps his companion survive in the world. Watching it.
Golden Kamuy S4
Yes! Golden Kamuy is back. Love this series. Watching it.
KanColle: Itsuka Ano Umi de
The long-awaited sequel to Kantai Collection. Judging by the cover art, we’ll be focusing on new characters. Watching it.
Shinobi no Ittoki
A boy named Ittoki finds out he’s the descendant of the famous Iga clan. He now must learn the ways of the ninja and fight against the Koga clan who want to end his life. Watching it.
I’m the Villainess, so I’m Taming the Final Boss
Aileen, the Duke’s daughter, regains her memories of her past life, and realizes she’s barreling toward ruin at full speed. Searching for any way out of her hopeless situation, the method she chooses is to capture the heart of the last boss the Demon Lord Claude. I might watch it.
Fuufu Ijou, Koibito Miman
Students at a school are forced to live together as part of practical class that grades their skillset to live with their partner. Our two main characters who are the exact opposite of each other wind up together instead of with their crushes. They decide to cooperate with each other to reach the top 10 which will allow them to exchange partners if they both agree to it. I might watch it.
Do It Yourself
Follows the day to day activities of an all-girl DIY club. Not interested.
Raven of the Inner Palace
Deep within the inner palace lives a special consort who does not serve the emperor despite her position as a consort. She is known as the Raven Consort. People who have seen her say she looks like an old woman, while others say she looks like a young girl. Stories tell of her use of mysterious arts, and how she can take on any request, be it death curses or finding lost things. Koushun, the current emperor, goes to visit the Raven Consort with that intention. Without knowing that their fated meeting will become a taboo that will overturn history. Watching it.
Bocchi the Rock!
A shy girl joins a rock band. Not interested.
I’ve Somehow Gotten Stronger When I Improved My Farm-Related Skills
A farmer becomes an OP character in a fantasy world. I might check it out.
Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch from Mercury
A new Gundam anime. Not watching.
Pop Team Epic S2
Pop Team Epic is back. God help us all. Watching it.
Beast Tamer
A beast tamer befriends a catgirl. I might watch it.
Mushikaburi-hime
The story of a princess and her betrothed who might be cheating on her. I’ll give it the 3-episode trial and see where it goes.
Love Flops
A boy gets confessed to by five girls and has to decide the right girl for him. I’ll check it out.
Futoku no Guild
A monster hunter with exceptional skill joins a guild. I might watch it.
Management of a Novice Alchemist
A young alchemist opening up a shop in a bad location. Don’t know about this one.
My Master Has No Tail
A tanuki wants to learn the ways of rakugo. Not watching.
Encouragement of Climb: Next Summit
Mountaineer girls. Not watching.
Akiba Maid Sensou
A girl becomes a maid in Akiba. Not watching.
4-nin wa Sorezore Uso wo Tsuku
Four friends who are each hiding a secret from each other. Not interested.
Yowamushi Pedal: LIMIT BREAK
Fifth season. Never got into this series.
Housing Complex C
Our horror series for the fall. Strange things to be happening around a complex. Watching it.
Legend of Mana – The Teardrop Crystal
An anime based off the Legend of Mana. Watching it.
Muv-Luv Alternative 2
Second season. Not interested.
IDOLiSH7: Third BEAT! Part 2
Boy idol anime. Skipping it.
Eikyuu Shounen: Eternal Boys
More boy idols. Skipping it.
VAZZROCK THE ANIMATION
Boy rock band anime. Skipping it.
Megaton-kyuu Musashi Season 2
Second season. Never heard of this series.
The Human Crazy University
Satake Hirofumi is a prisoner on death row for murdering his fiancée. He’s also an “Undeadman” who has survived many desperate situations. For this, he has earned the interest of a research institution called “Human Crazy University,” which studies real-life miraculous phenomena and the people who become entangled in them. Not interested.
Mamekichi Mameko NEET no Nichijou
Focuses on a NEET woman. Not interested.
Along with these animes Utawarerumono and Lucifer and the Biscuit Hammer will also continue into the fall. I heard Danmachi will also continue airing into the fall.
Final Thoughts
And that’s the fall lineup. A lot of anticipated animes are coming out that has everyone excited and a lot of interesting new ones that have my interest as well.
