*On a road a police paddy wagon is carrying an inmate in the back*
(Officer 1): Alright, just a couple of hours and we’ll be in Chicago.
(Officer 2): Don’t see why they wanted us to transport just one guy to Chicago.
(Officer 1): Apparently, he got moved down for good behavior. Although, given his criminal record I say that was a mistake.
(Officer 2): Let’s see what this guy did.
*The officer takes out his file from a bag and begins to read it*
(Officer 2): *Whistle* Get a load of this guy. Attempted murder, assault, public destruction, and smuggling of illegal merchandise. Damn son, you got one hell of record mister. . .Michaels, Cole Michaels.
*The officer continues to read Cole’s file*
(Officer 2): Oh great, you’re one of these anime dorks. I never really got into that stuff. I just don’t get how a bunch of grown adults can find this stuff entertaining. I mean, Revolutionary Girl Utena? Just the title sounds ridiculous.
*Cole grits his teeth and one of his eyes begins to twitch.
(Officer 1): Never really got into that stuff either. My daughter likes it though. Says she goes to this site called Project Nitsuj that does anime reviews. Read of a few of his blogs and I think I see the appeal of anime. Not really my thing though.
*Cole’s eye begins to twitch some more. As the policemen continue to drive down the road a large van hits them all of sudden on the driver’s side of the wagon. The wagon flips over into the grass busting the radio. The officers struggle to make it out of the wagon. When the first officer makes it out of the wagon he gets assaulted by two masked men. The second officer gets out from the passenger’s side where he gets assaulted by Cole who viciously attacks him*
(Other Cole): Cole, is this how you work out your anger?
(Cole): Yes, it is, other Cole. Yes, it is.
(Masked man 1): Come on, this way.
*Cole climbs back up the hill and into the van with the masked man where they remove his handcuffs*
(Cole): Thanks for the assist boys.
(Masked man 2): Hey, we elitists have to stick together.
(Masked man 1): We’re meeting the others down in Kentucky. From there we’ll head south towards Louisiana.
(Cole): Actually, if you guys don’t mind, drop me off in Indianapolis. I’ve got some business to take care of in Ohio. Something that’s been long overdue.
Meanwhile
*In the system the AI girls are playing a game of capture the flag. It’s Isis, Chibi, Shizuku, and Yin-Yang against Mira, Seras, and Yume. Isis is shooting down all of Mira’s cyber discs, Seras is fighting Shizuku in hand to hand combat, and Yume is taking on Yin-Yang and Chibi*
(Isis): Keep pushing you guys! Don’t give up!
(Mira): Hold the line! Don’t let them through!
(Seras): Your hand to hand combat has gotten better Shizuku.
(Shizuku): Likewise. Now how’s your footwork?
*Shizuku tries to sweep the legs of Seras but she jumps to dodge. Seras tries to punt kick Shizuku in the face but she lies down causing Seras to miss. Seras tries to hit Shizuku with moonsault but Shizuku rolls out of the way and gets to her feet. Seras manages to land on her feet and turn around just in time to get hit by Shizuku who delivers a Supergirl punch to her jaw which sends Seras flying. With Seras taken care of Shizuku goes for the flag. Mira manages to hit Isis with one of her cyber discs, dazing Isis as Mira sees Shizuku out of the corner of her eyes. Mira stops Shizuku with her whip by wrapping it around Shizuku’s legs causing her to fall*
(Shizuku): It’s gonna take more than that to stop me!
*Shizuku manages to slip out of the whip and get back up only to find herself struggling to move because Mira has trapped her in wires*
(Mira): You were saying?
*Gritting her teeth, Shizuku continues to try and move forward with Mira trying to stop her. Isis recovers from her daze and sees what’s happening*
(Isis): Pretty dangerous to turn your back on me.
*Isis takes out her rapier and prepares to lunge at Mira only to stop when she sees a scythe inches away from her neck*
(Seras): Who says she left her back unguarded?
*Seras pulls her scythe back as Isis ducks underneath to avoid the attack. Seras begins to unleash a flurry of attacks at Isis who manages to either dodge or parry the attacks. Meanwhile, Yume does her best holding off Yin-Yang and Chibi with her naginata until Yin-Yang manages to get behind her and tie up Yume with her kusarigama and tackling her to the ground*
(Yin-Yang): Go Chibi go!
*Chibi runs towards Mira and Shizuku*
(Chibi): Nee-chan! Now!
*Upon hearing Chibi, Isis does a flip into the air and pulls out her gun to fire a bullet at Chibi. Chibi uses her wind breath to deflect the bullet to the wires. The bullet splits in half on one of the wires and the shards from the bullet set the wires on fire. Mira is so shocked by this that she falls backwards and with the wires gone, Shizuku is able to grab the flag and give her team the win*
(Shizuku): YEEEEAAAAAAAAHHHHH~!
(Yin-Yang): And with that, the record is 3-0.
(Yume): You only won because the sides are uneven. It’s 4 against 3.
(Isis): No it isn’t. You got the dummy droid.
(Seras): Yeah, a dummy that’s useless. It doesn’t follow orders, does its own thing, and keeps using the wrong attacks at the wrong time. We’re better off without it.
(Mira): Yeah. Its times like this I wish there was another AI to help us out and make the sides even.
*Meanwhile outside of the system Nitsuj was chilling on his couch watching the Jack Bros. play Guilty Gear on PS5. He soon took out his phone and looked at his news feed where he saw that COVID cases were very low across the globe. Thanks to the miracle vaccine that was created at the start of the year, COVID cases were on a fast decline and in the months to come the world was starting to reopen and recover*
(Nitsuj): *Yawning* Glad this whole pandemic is almost over in our world. With the world reopening back up, I think now is as good a time as ever to take a vacation. Get out and see the world instead of being locked inside.
*Nitsuj’s doorbell rings. Nitsuj gets up to answer it and sees that it’s Danny from the AIA*
(Nitsuj): Danny, long time no see. How’s it going?
(Danny): Not good. We have a serious matter on our hands. I need to speak to you and everyone.
*Danny comes in while Nitsuj calls the AI girls who materialize in the room. They’re all shocked and happy to see Danny*
(Nitsuj): So, what’s up Danny? This isn’t about the Mattie situation is it?
(Danny): No, but I really would like to talk about that. We’ve just received word that Cole has escaped jail.
(Everyone): What!
(Nitsuj): How did this happen?
(Danny): He was being moved to another jailhouse, but along the way the wagon got ambushed by elitists. Now Cole has escaped and he’s heading here as we speak.
(Nitsuj): What makes you think he’s coming for me? Why not Brian or Ashlyn?
(Danny): Because we looked into his cell and this is what was inside.
*Danny takes out an ipad and shows everyone a picture of Cole’s cell. In the cell Cole has a hung black doll, a picture of Nitsuj on a punching bag, a body pillow of Nitsuj with stab wounds in it, and written on the walls is ‘Die Nitsuj Die’*
(Nitsuj): Well, this is a lovely room of vengeance.
(Danny): We also found his personal Death Note. It’s filled with detailed ways on how Cole intends to kill you.
(Shizuku): Damn boss. Sucks to be you.
(Danny): You’re in there too.
(Shizuku): Us!? What the hell did we do?
(Danny): You’re associated with Nitsuj therefore you share his pain.
(Nitsuj): Alright, Danny so what’s the plan? Get me to an open field where I can settle things with Cole once and for all?
(Danny): Hell no. I need to get you and the others far away as possible.
(Seras): Oh screw that noise, we’re not running away from anybody!
(Nitsuj): Yeah I’m with Seras, I’m not gonna run away from Cole.
(Danny): Look, it’s not that simple Nitsuj. You’re no longer an active field agent, the AI girls and the Jack Bros. are normal citizens. You guys have to go into witness protection.
(Nitsuj): Ohh~, I hate witness protection. They always send you someplace awful.
(Danny): Look, I’ve made all of the arrangements. I know how much you love traveling, so I pulled some strings and I’m sending you to London, England. They’re getting ready to do a live con there and I signed you up as a guest speaker. Believe it or not you’ve got a lot of fans over there and I’m sure they’d be happy to see you. You’ll get to go to a con, meet other anime reviewers over there, and see the sights. It’s practically a vacation. By the time the tour is all done we’ll have this Cole situation taken care of. What do you say?
*Nitsuj sits there and thinks for a minute*
(Nitsuj): Alright. Because I trust you Danny and I love ya I’ll do it. I’ll let you handle Cole. But you have to promise me that you’ll protect Brian and Ashlyn too. He may be after them but there’s no telling what he’ll do if he can’t find me.
(Danny): I swear on my life nothing will happen to them.
(Nitsuj): Alright, so when do I leave?
*2 hours later. Nitsuj and the others find themselves on a plane getting ready to take out for London*
(Baron): Oh man, this is exciting!
(Nitsuj): I know! I’ve never been to London.
(Yin-Yang): Too bad the circumstances are us running away from an escaped convict who wants to kill us.
(Mira): Do you really think Danny can handle Cole?
(Nitsuj): I’ve known Danny for some time. He’s a cautious guy who cares for his friends. If he’s going through all this trouble to protect me it only shows just how dangerous the situation is. Personally, I think he can handle Cole and if Cole comes for us – which I highly doubt – I’ll be ready for him. Rest assured; I won’t let anything bad happen to you guys.
*Nitsuj flashes a reassuring smile which puts the AI girls at ease and even makes them blush a little*
(Captain): Good evening everyone, this is your captain speaking. We are getting set to take off here momentarily. Please buckle your seatbelts, seats in their upright position, and please remain seated for the duration of the takeoff sequence. If you have any electronic devices, we ask that you put them in airplane mode at this time or turn them off.
*Nitsuj’s flight takes off 5 minutes later. Even though Nitsuj was worried about Cole he couldn’t help but feel excited of going to Europe with his friends. He puts on his headphones and begins listening to music*
