Project #645: Record of Grancrest War Part 2

Hello and welcome to Project Nitsuj. Today we’re finishing up Record of Grancrest War by looking at the second half. Previously, the Union received a striking blow. Not only did Milza betray them, but Villar was defeated as well giving the Alliance a solid foothold in Union territory. With Villar defeated the lords under him vow to reclaim his land and push back the Alliance. With the latest battle pushing the Alliance back it opens the door for Theo to reclaim his homeland from Pederico. Can Theo reclaim his home and prove his himself to the other lords? Let’s find out.

Opening and Ending Theme

So the second opening is “Rin” by ASCA. Definitely liked this opening more than the first one. It grabs your attention with the first note and let’s you know that the stakes are rising as the battle become more intense and important. The song conveys what everyone is fighting for: love, power, glory. Everything everyone is fighting for can be conveyed in this song.

The second ending is “Shoudou” by Mashiro Ayano. Once again a good song and a lot more memorable than the first opening. While I think the first ending is better I still think this song is good, but probably could worked better as a opening.

Episodes 13-16

In episode 13 Theo has arrived back in Sistina along with Siluca, Irvin, Priscilla (where the hell have you been?), Luna, Emma, and Aishela to defeat Pederico and the rest of the Rossinis so that he can reclaim the land. Their first stop is Lexia a land completely under the rule of Rossini where they run into Yana who is now in a relationship of sorts with Salvador the son of Pederico (I’m beginning to think the Rossinis are Portuguese). Theo announces that he’s come to take out the Rossini family (he will delete you) which gets a big surprise out of the people and Salvador orders his soldiers to attack them. Theo and the others escape and start making their way around the other villages in the hopes that others will stand with him in the coming battle (yeah, you probably should have brought your own army). As you expect everyone is too afraid to rise up against the Rossini family. We see how they rule by fear and even attack other citizens to fill them with despair so that they never rise up against them (break them physically and mentally). The only way to survive on this island is to get on the Rossini’s good side and in order to do that you’ll have to do some pretty twisted stuff, such as kill a man who did no wrong. Case in point, Theo’s dad. The group goes to Theo’s village where we find out they killed Theo’s dad. Whenever the soldiers would come and plunder the village which left them with no food, Theo’s dad would give them all grain from his secret grain house he built for times of emergency. Someone from the village snitched on him and to set an example Pederico ordered the villagers to kill him (and even that didn’t earn them much favor in Pederico’s eyes). Theo soon left the village unable to forgive them for what they did but now knows that his anger should be directed at the Rossinis. Theo urges everyone to rise up and takes his leave, but his childhood friend Rebecca urges him to visit his dad’s grave before leaving. He heads up there alone with Rebecca where he knows she set him up for a trap but still goes to face them anyway in order to protect the village and her as well (because that’s what a MC does. Use their plot armor to their advantage). When Theo reaches his dad’s grave, Salvador is there with an army of 200 soldiers ready to fight and the villagers after hearing the encouraging the words of Siluca and learning of Theo’s sacrifice from Rebecca decide to stand with him and oppose the Rossini army (again, we should have brought our own army). The fight isn’t really all that good, but Theo does manage to kill Salvador and Rebecca dies as well (and I feel nothing for her. How could I? We learned nothing about her. Besides knowing that she was Theo’s childhood friend, I know nothing about this character and the anime expects me to feel sad for her death. Sorry, but I can’t feel sad for a character I know little about).

Episode 14 is action packed from beginning to end. Once news of Salvador’s death gets out people begin to rise up against the Rossini family and Pederico wants to stop it before it gets out of hand. Pederico’s second son Dorni goes to face Theo with 3,000 men while we also see that Salvador’s assassin and Yana plan to seek revenge as well by taking out Irvin, Emma, and Luna. Theo and his army head out to the battlefield while Irvin, Emma, and Luna go to face the assassin and Yana (kick that witch’s sexy ass. What? She’s hot). Irvin manages to defeat the assassin but he himself gets poisoned in the process and begins to slowly die. Yana manages to escape the wrath of the twins, but they did manage to hurt her badly. Back on the main battlefield, Theo’s army manages to hold their own against Dorni’s army and Theo backs Dorni into a wall by wearing him out until he finally kills him. With Dorni’s death the tyrannical hold of the Rossini family has come to an end. Yana tries to kill Theo but Siluca saves him (you touch her man, you’re dead) and they manage to capture her. Priscilla also saves Irvin’s life. Theo marches to the house of Pederico where he comes face to face with Pederico’s final son Juzel (oh good, care to join your brothers?) who negotiates with Theo on what’s going to happen (what’s going to happen is that you and your family are going to die either by Theo’s hands or the hands of the people. Your choice). They come to an agreement that the Rossini family will give up their fortune, Theo gets their crest and rule over Sistina, Pederico will be given the death penalty, and Juzel will be allowed to live and work under Theo.

In episode 15 Theo earns the rank of Earl and gets recognized by the Mage Academy as the new ruler of Sistina and is rewarded for capturing Yana who they believed caused the Great Hall massacre back in the first episode (that would not be surprising. She seems like the kind of woman who would do something like that). They give her a witch’s death by burning her at the stake (burn baby, burn) but she refuses to give them the pleasure of killing her. She summons a demon lord and warns them of the coming age of chaos before the demon decapitates her (well that was fun. Let’s do Pederico next). With his business in Sistina done, Theo and company return to Altirk where his next move is to liberate Altirk and kill Milza (that’s something I can get behind). Speaking of Milza we see how he takes out the white witches and werewolves villages as a way to quell the revolt caused by the lords that are still loyal to Villar and gets pissed off whenever someone mentions Theo and warns him not to underestimate him (my boy Theo is coming for you and you’re scared). The white witches and werewolves retreat back to the Forest of Darkness where they await the return of Theo who has met with the lords, acknowledges that leaving in the middle of a war was selfish on his part (oh who cares. You got an island, a new rank, and a lot of other goodies. That trip was worth it. The only thing that would have made it better is if you and Siluca had some alone time on the beach), and vows to take down Milza himself. He retakes the Forest of Darkness and calls out Milza where their forces number 2,000 while Milza has 10,000 (alright. Everybody take out 5 people and we’ll be good to go. We got this). Milza’s adviser warns him not to fight Theo in the forest but he ignores him and vows to crush Theo and reclaim the Forest of Darkness (he wants to prove that he can beat Theo anytime, anywhere, and under any condition. He’s not just out to kill Theo, he wants to show everyone that he’s the better of the two).

Episode 16 is a very good episode. It starts with Milza and his army foolishly entering the Forest of Darkness where they get attacked by the wolves, poisoned by witches, and get lost in this maze-like forest (remind me again why you didn’t burn the forest down?). He eventually makes it to Theo’s castle where Theo warns him to retreat as it’s almost nighttime and the forest is very dangerous at night (what a terrible night for a battle). Milza’s adviser convinces him to retreat and they leave the forest where they decide to force Theo out by attacking the south. Theo hears about this and decides he has to make a move so Siluca concocts a plan with the other sorcerers to buy Theo some time to amass an army composed of citizens. Once Milza makes it down south he finds out that the earl of the land has fled leaving behind his sorcerer and everything (come and get the carrot little rabbit). Milza takes the bait and manages to subjugate the land in 5 days which gives Theo plenty of time to amass an army of 50,000 men which easily outnumber Milza’s army. When he comes across Theo’s army he has no choice but to retreat back into Castle Unicorn (I kid you not that is the name of the castle. For the record, Villar was the one who named it that) where he’ll have to await reinforcements from his homeland, Starck, the Nords, and Marrine herself. However, those reinforcements may not come or will have a difficult time reaching him. For starters, the Nords and Starck are trying to conquer Haman which is ruled by Eudokia (who had her own reverse-harem going on until they all died protecting her. She’s got the beauty of a goddess but the lust of a devil). In order to protect her land she used the land’s coffers but they’ve run out of money and have nothing more to offer. In order to inspire her troops, Eudokia’s advisor tells her to strip in front of her men (oh that’ll inspire them in more ways than one) to show them that she has nothing else to protect them with except her body and she intends to fight. The adviser also strips in front of the men along with Eudokia and this actually inspired them to fight for her (many swords were raised high that day. Actually, all kidding aside this was a brilliant move on her part. The citizens of Haman don’t just see Eudokia as their queen but as their “Mother” as well, a symbol of safety and fertility. When they saw her strip in front of them it was her saying she has nothing more to protect them with except her bare body. So, they all decided that if their “Mother” is gonna offer up her naked body to protect us then so will we). The soldiers of Haman go to face the Nords and Starck naked (you guys missed the best orgy ever) where they make their stand and encourage the citizen soldiers of Starck to rise up against their oppressors. Thanks to Juzel (who infiltrated Starck in order to incite the masses) running through the crowd and inciting them to join Haman after bringing to attention all the wrong Starck has done, the citizen soldiers turn on Starck and the Nords siding with Haman and giving the Nords more trouble than they bargained for. Milza’s situation isn’t going any better as Theo’s army has him completely surrounded and even if Marrine managed to make it in time she would have to contend against that army and be forced to retreat.

Episodes 17-20

Episode 17 gives us the showdown we’ve all been waiting for, Theo vs Milza. It’s also in this episode that lords realize that an era of change is upon them. An era where the lords aren’t decided by bloodline or families but by the masses that they inspire and who choose to follow them. Milza realizing that the only reinforcements that will arrive are Marrine’s forces decides to head out with his troops and face Theo himself (he knows that there’s a high chance he’ll die here. Milza knows that even with Marrine’s help, their chances of victory are slim and if Marrine were to fall in battle then the Alliance would fall apart. In order to protect his lord, Milza will face the enemy himself and die a heroic death. In a strange way he’s being selfless and shows that he cares about Marrine). Milza and his troops head out where they break through every line of defense (losing men in the process) until he finally makes it to where Theo is. Not even an explosion to the face stops this guy from reaching Theo and he demands to challenge Theo in a one-on-one combat. Theo accepts and the anime turns into Star Wars (use the force Theo) as Theo and Milza face each other in to be honest a not so satisfying fight. While not entirely bad as it shows that Theo has become strong and how his way of fighting is different from Milza, you kinda were expecting more from a fight between two rivals who each have different viewpoints and have complete disdain for each other. Theo manages to disarm Milza and gives him a formal choice to give his crest up or face death and Milza until the bitter end refuses to yield to Theo (this is beautiful as it’s Milza basically saying that no matter what he will never accept Theo’s way of thinking). So Theo kills Milza, he obtains Villar’s crest, and the fight is over as Theo has reclaimed the land (scene here: https://youtu.be/CN2NV6k0Kys?si=Og8M8xn1eISER8df).

In episode 18 Theo becomes a duke as well as the leader of the Altirk treaty (motherfucker reclaimed his homeland all by himself and took out Milza as well. I’d follow him to Hell and back I would). The others give him their crests as well and Theo announces that the treaty will continue following Villar’s vision of achieving peace with the Alliance. In order to do that, he declares that they’ll become a third party in the war (we’ll call you guys the Treaty). They’ll still fight for the Union and help them out, but as far as crushing the Alliance, they’ll have no part in it and instead force the Union to make a move against the Alliance. That night they celebrate like kings (and queens) with Theo getting some alone time with Siluca where he proposes to her and she accepts (scene here: https://youtu.be/UDrS6eR5tHM?si=7-ZZf_tM2WiWJPwR, and Theo has achieved legendary status along with Ikki from Rakudai Kishi no Cavalry) but they decide to hold off on the marriage (and the festivities of the wedding night) until they’ve achieved their goal (this will give Theo more reason to live). After this, we find out that a friend of Villar died in battle and one of the Union lords named Dawson betrayed the Union and sided with the Alliance (I hope he dies). Theo and Siluca pay a visit to Alexis and encourage him to pick up his sword and rally the Union behind him. At first he’s hesitant but when Theo talks about Marrine, how she’s still in love with Alexis, and is hurting on the inside for her people he finally picks up his sword and decides to fight to save her (to sum up Theo’s pep talk: Get off your ass! You be a man and you go be with your woman! Screw this war, screw the crests, screw the Union, and screw the Alliance! Go be with the woman you love!).

In episode 19 Alexis goes on a rampage (both on land and sea). It starts with Alexis taking on a traitor to the Union where we see despite being somewhat of a pacifist, he’s really good at war. He creates amazing strategies and formations that completely surround his opponents and cuts them off from escape and reinforcements which gives him the absolute victory (it’s like watching someone paint a masterpiece). Once news of Alexis entering the battle reaches Marrine we see she’s worried out of her mind and is now struggling to keep moving forward (she knows that if she keeps going she’ll eventually have to fight Alexis, the man she still loves and holds feelings for. But if she stops, the Alliance will fall and everything that she’s done and sacrificed will be all for nothing. It’s an internal battle as Marrine is battling with her emotions as a woman longing to be with the man she loves over her pride as a leader to follow her convictions and responsibilities she placed on herself). In the second half, Alexis takes on the Sea King Erik (I have seen the Sea King. You are no Sea King) a man of Norse heritage who falls victim to Alexis’ strategy formations, but he refuses to retreat. In an all or nothing gamble he and his men charge through Alexis’ formation and he boards the ship of Alexis where he takes arrow shots all over his body, an harpoon through the chest, multiple sword and spear stabs, and even gets his eyes gouged out but refuses to die until he has killed Alexis (don’t fuck with the Norse that’s all I gotta say). It’s only until someone finally cuts off his head does Erik go down for the count and Alexis takes his crest but in the process is both disturbed and terrified at what he just witnessed (I don’t blame him that stuff was brutal. I haven’t seen this excessive amount of blood since Kill la Kill. Scene here: https://youtu.be/KgUUR3q_Da8?si=2w_PVyb-zexiLdeI). After word of Erik’s defeat spreads, we see Siluca go to meet with Marrine and try to get her to surrender and stop this needless bloodshed but Marrine refuses to admit defeat (does Jason Voorhees holding a buzzsaw need to come out before you admit how screwed you are!? Look, I respect your pride in willingness and believing you can still win this war despite taking so many big losses but let’s be reasonable here. You just lost Milza and Erik, two highly powerful allies to your enemies. Both of them defeated by a single army. The morale of the Alliance has got to be in shambles by now. In the coming war there’s no doubt you’ll be coming face to face with Theo and Alexis who you won’t fight in the right mindset because you hate Theo and I know as hell you won’t be able to contain your emotions when fighting Alexis. Just stop this war while there’s still time).

Episode 20 is an all-out battle between the Treaty and Alliance as the Treaty tries to hold out long enough for the Union’s support to arrive. The battle is fierce as both sides suffer casualties and gets even more hectic when Theo and Marrine enter the fray (unfortunately they never face off against each other). As the Treaty is nearly at their limits, Alexis arrives with the Union and the Alliance is forced to retreat (plot twist, Alexis joins the Alliance. I’m kidding but wouldn’t that be something?). Theo organizes a sit down between the three factions where once again he calls for a truce but Marrine denies this. Theo urges her to side with him so that they can face the true enemy, the ones who caused the Great Hall tragedy and the ones who have been organizing this whole war from the shadows, the Mage Academy (wait what? How did they figure this out?). Along with Theo’s truce, Alexis and Marrine will get married and together they will create the Grancrest which will force the Mage Academy to take action and expose themselves to the world where they will stand together and fight them. Once again Marrine says no to the truce (oh for God’s sake woman what more do you want? You get the Grancrest and get to be with the man you love. This is a win gift wrapped for you and everything). While Marrine is fully aware that the Mage Academy are the ones they should be fighting, the problem is putting Alexis in the line of fire (she’s fine with endangering herself but not him. Not the person she loves more than life. To lose Alexis would be a fate worse than death). Alexis takes her outside where he had his men form a rose (oh my God you are so corny. But I like it) and tells Marrine he doesn’t mind being in danger with her because he loves her and as long as he’s with her he’ll shoulder any hardship. Marrine talks about all the bad things she’s done and how she’s unworthy to be with someone like Alexis (I agree. Usually, it’s the other way around but yeah, you don’t deserve Alexis) but Alexis doesn’t care about any of that. All that matters is that they love each other and want to be with each other. He proposes to Marrine once again and she says yes, kissing him and everything. With this the war is over and both Alexis and Marrine plan to swear their loyalty to Theo when the time comes as they think he should be their first emperor.

Episodes 21-24

Episode 21 is like the calm before the storm (a storm that the entire world will feel and see). The Mage Academy has begun purging the lords and any mages who swear allegiance to lords. The three factions decide to join forces and create the Imperial Army. Siluca and the mages who remain loyal to their lords are told to break their wands as the academy can track them through it as well as listen in on their conversations (just like with a cellphone). Aishela attempts to assassinate Siluca but gets stopped by Irvin where we find out she’s part of Pandora a secret organization within the Mage Academy made up of back-alley mages and dropouts. Their goal is to keep the chaos in check and eliminate any lords that come close to creating the Grancrest. She was given specific orders to eliminate Siluca or they’ll activate a spell put on Aishela that will kill her. Since Aishela failed (on purpose mind you) Pandora decides to eliminate her but Priscilla uses her holy maiden powers to remove the spell on Aishela and save her life. However, her Arts get taken away as well so now she’s a normal woman (who is still beautiful, badass, and has nice breasts). Aishela explains that the Mage Academy doesn’t want the Grancrest to be created as it’ll be an end to magic (as well as their power). Instead, they just want to keep the chaos in check and control it. We get a few more assassins within the armies take out a few lords but get eliminated as well and Theo and the others prepare to march on to Eramu to take on the mages directly.

Episode 22 is a quick but very good episode. The Order of the Crest (the one that Priscilla is a part of) have teamed up with the Mage Academy and Pope Leone along with Gunther an agent of Pandora are blocking the Imperial Army’s path to Eramu with all of the followers. They’re calling Theo a heretic and plan to use their followers as vanguards should Theo attack them (that is low). Theo has no intention of harming innocent people who are being manipulated by others and even if he were to attack, the world would just frown upon his actions which is what they want to happen. In order to avoid an all-out battle, Priscilla offers to go before Leone and convince him to stand down. Siluca, Irvin, and Aishela go with her where Priscilla proclaims that Theo is the one chosen by the One God to end the age of Chaos. To prove this, she shows everyone the Holy Grail, a crest said to belong to the true holy maiden who will find the one chosen by God to bring forth an era of peace (and it makes a good wine glass). Priscilla’s words and crest manage to get the followers over to her side and even Leone begins to falter but Gunther tells him to kill Priscilla which will release her crest and turn into a chaos core which will signify that she was a fake. Leone goes through with the action and kills Priscilla in front of everyone (and I feel nothing. I know I should be sad, but we never got to spend that much time with her. She barely had any scenes so we never got to develop a bond with this character. She’s almost like a complete stranger to me. Now that I think about it, the same can be said for Irvin, the twins, and a few other characters). However, despite Priscilla’s death, her crest still remains to be the Holy Grail proving that she was indeed the holy maiden that the prophecy foretold (and Leone just killed her. Ass). Gunther tells Leone to take her crest but he’s so traumatized by what he’s done that he refuses to do it. Gunther tries to kill him but Irvin stops him and Gunther escapes (uh, stop him). Once news of Priscilla’s death reaches Theo he cries (yes, because you two had such amazing chemistry and scenes together. Like that time she. . .or that time when. . .or how about. . .okay, I got nothing, why are you crying for her again?) but he manages to get a hold of himself and goes to obtain the Holy Grail proving that he is the one who will bring peace to the world.

A majority of episode 23 focuses on Lassic. The Imperial Army has made is just outside of Eramu and the Mage Academy has unleashed a cyclops that invaded the kingdom years ago but was stopped and sealed away (and after being frozen for God knows how long I’m sure its pissed and wants to go on a rampage). Lassic and his army volunteer to take it down all by themselves in order to preserve the rest of the army for the night attack and it’s a matter of pride for Lassic (Lassic was the first lord to serve under Theo. Through it all he’s seen all of Theo’s greatest achievements and couldn’t be more honored and proud to call Theo his emperor and friend. But despite all of this he too wants the world to recognize his achievements and victories that can be put in the same category as Theo’s). Lassic, with his most trusted allies formulate a plan to blind the cyclops with light magic and then take it down. While Moreno readies his light magic spell, Lassic and the others distract the cyclops where I have to say the animation takes a huge nosedive as it just looks horrible throughout this entire fight scene (not sure if they went over budget with this scene or if it was just laziness setting in. Either way, this entire fight scene was bad, slow, and awkward to watch). Moreno finishes up his spell and blinds the cyclops which causes it to fall over and Lassic deals the final blow by using a spear to pierce the cyclops through the heart killing it without losing a single soldier (that’s an achievement for the records. Make note of this man’s badassery). That night, the Imperial Army begins their attack on Eramu by taking the gates with ease. As Theo and his closest friends set out for Eramu they get transported to the Forest of Eternal Darkness where Dimitri who has sided with the Mage Academy is waiting for them.

In the final episode we start with Theo and the others taking on Dimitri who invites them into his castle (welcome to Castlevania) where they fight but have no luck in killing him (if only Simon Belmont was here. He’d whip Dimitri into submission) until Aeon (Emma and Luna’s big brother. You have brother?) arrives with Dimitri’s real body and destroys it which in return should kill Dimitri only it doesn’t. Dimitri has created so many clones of himself and is so strong that if his real body is destroyed, he can keep on living (hack! I call hack!). Just when he’s about to finish them off they get saved by the spirit of Priscilla in the form of the Holy Grail which weakens Dimitri. Aeon in his wolf form tears away at the neck of Dimitri while Theo delivers a blow to Dimitri’s heart killing him and for some reason Aeon dies as well (how? He wasn’t injured or anything so what the hell happened?). There is one more shadow of Dimitri left but he’s so weak and scared that killing him would be petty and pointless, so they let him go. With Dimitri gone they return to Eramu where the Imperial army has just finished conquering the city and Theo and Siluca enter the Great Hall where all their questions will be answered by touching the chaos globe. They touch it and get to meet Pandora the one who’s been trying to keep the Age of Chaos in order to save the world. We find out that in the past the world was a technological marvel (that puts our current time period to shame). As time went on and civilization evolved, they discovered the ultimate energy which led to the destruction of their world. In order to stop this outcome, Pandora’s plan was to flood the world with chaos which according to her would lead to the end of civilization (her plan’s not much better either. With the ultimate energy thing we can possibly stop it before anything bad happens but with her plan it’s guaranteed to lead to the destruction of the world). They return back to the hall where Theo still remains steadfast in his goals to bring an end to the Age of Chaos (yeah, screw that flying face and her plan). After that things wrap up nicely. Theo becomes the emperor and three years go by where he gets married to Siluca and Alexis gets married to Marrine at the same time (a double wedding. Siluca looked the best). Theo finally creates the Grancrest which brings an end to the Age of Chaos meaning magic and arts are no more. Theo hands the title of emperor over to Alexis, Marrine becomes chancellor, and Theo and Siluca move back to Sistina where Theo rules over the kingdom as peace spreads throughout the world. The End.

Final Thoughts

And that was Record of Grancrest War. Overall, I liked it. I’m really shocked this didn’t get a lot more attention when it aired. This is a fantasy series done right. There are good stakes, well done battles, well-written characters, fun magic mechanics, world building and a gripping story of lost, heartache, forgiveness, and love. The character development throughout the anime is good. Theo goes from a common man working under others while slowly becoming the leader he was always destined to be and ultimately achieving what he set out to do and then some. I also like his relationship with Siluca and how it developed. It wasn’t love at first sight, it’s two characters forming a partnership, working side by side, getting to know each other, and through their experiences fall in love with each other. It doesn’t feel forced nor does it feel like it came out of nowhere. Both characters compliment and support each other and work together to get the best results. Their relationship serves as inspiration for Alexis to finally face Marrine again and win her back before she’s lost forever. Marrine definitely had her low points, but in the end confesses what she’s done, asks for forgiveness, and avoids a tragic end. There’s a lot of characters that you’ll see and like in this anime which does serve to harm the anime in the grand scheme of things. Because there are so many characters they don’t get enough time to focus on them or see them engage with other characters. Priscilla and Theo being a prime example. Two characters who worked closely with each other but we never really see that many moments between them so when Theo cries at her death it falls flat for me.

Aside from that there are a few generic scenes and moments that don’t make sense when they happen. I was especially letdown by Milza. I was hoping he would play a bigger role in the final battle and not get defeated so easily with all the hype, build-up, and power hunger he had. However, they’re easily outweighed by all the positives in this anime. The music is good and the animation is solid especially for the character designs and magic scenes. The battle scenes are good and see the characters incorporate strategies and tactics to win. The world they build is interesting and makes me want to explore more of it. Each land is different with their own customs, armies, and lords ruling over them that you could honestly focus an entire episode around these lands and you still wouldn’t have scratched the surface of these places. The music is also great. It’s like a blend between Fire Emblem and Legend of Zelda. It knows when to be subtle and soft as well as loud and demanding for the thrill of battle and triumph.

Final Score

My final score for Record of Grancrest War is a 7.5/10. A good fantasy that deserves to be watched at least once. Definitely check out this underrated classic, you won’t regret it. It’ll keep your interest from beginning to end and leave you happy. Thanks for reading and I’ll see you next time on Project Nitsuj.
