Hello! Justin here and welcome to the Otaku Mind. Well guys, the dog days of summer are behind us and the dog days of fall are here. For some of us, that means hitting the books and getting the grades. For others, it means cooler weather to on the lawn. And for us anime fans, it means the new anime lineup is about to begin. It’s time for me to name the 11 anime I’m looking forward to watching this fall and the ones I think everyone will get some enjoyment. The summer lineup left much to be desire in terms of big hits. The Elusive Samurai and Tower of God in my opinion being only real anime that I consider must watch. So what animes does the fall have for us.? Well let’s find out.
#11. Arifureta S3
The isekai story of a student who becomes an edgelord and throws his back out carrying his classmates who have tried to kill him and are useless heroes. Good thing he’s got a vampire girlfriend and harem to back him up.
#10. Loner Life in Another World
A new isekai where a loner and his class get sent to another world and gets stuck dealing with the female classmates. Such is the way of the loner.
#9. DanMachi S5
The next arc in the DanMachi series. What new trials will Bell face and who will he be adding to his harem next?
#8. SAO Alternative: GGO S2
The only story of SAO that everyone admits to liking finally gets its long awaited second season. Ironic, that this story came from a guest author.
#7. Shangri-La Frontier S2
Speaking of MMORPGs, here’s another one that does a good job with the formula.
#6. Ranma ½
Another classic anime gets a fresh coat of paint and a chance to reach a new audience of viewers.
#5. Dandadan
Another Shonen Jump story that mixes sci-fi and the occult. Lots of excitement surrounding this rising story.
#4. Chi: About the Movement of the Earth
A historical drama set in 15th century Poland about a boy being labeled a heretic for pursuing a different study.
#3. Rurouni Kenshin: Kyoto Douran
We’re entering the Kyoto arc. I believe every story has that one arc where it goes from good to great. For me, this is where Kenshin goes from just being a good story to great story.
#2. Uzumaki
Hands down Junji Ito’s most popular work and in my opinion scariest story. While it’ll only be 4 episodes I pray that they do this book justice.
And number one. . .
#1. Re:Zero S3
It’s finally here. What new traumas will Subaru face now?
And that’s my list. Overall I think this is a better lineup than the summer. What animes are you looking forward to watching this fall? Let me know in the comments below. Thanks for reading and I’ll see you next time on Project Nitsuj.
