Project #530: Tower of God

Hello and welcome to Project Nitsuj. With anime becoming more and more popular in the world, you have to wonder if studios outside of Japan have tried their hand in making anime? The answer, yes. There have been a number of times over the years where studios outside of Japan have taken their shot at making anime. One of the most famous ones being Big O. While it wasn’t popular in Japan it found an audience in the west who liked it so much that Toonami actually co-produced 12 or 13 more episodes to complete the series. Funimation also co-produced Dimension W years ago as a way to get eyes on the streaming service that they were starting up. China’s been producing their own anime as well with one of their most well-known being the King’s Avatar. Even Crunchyroll got in on the action, but rather than adapt a series from Japan they instead adapted manhwas. Manhwas or webtoons as some people like to call them are the South Korean equivalent of Japanese manga except on a digital platform. This was actually a smart move by Crunchyroll as webtoons were an untapped market and were filled with as many creative stories as manga. In 2020, Crunchyroll would debut three original webtoon animes that they co-produced to the world when we needed them the most and the first one they showed was Tower of God. Written and drawn by S.I.U aka Lee Jong Hui, Tower of God debuted in 2010 and still continues today. Considered one of if not the most popular webtoon out right now, Tower of God has often been called the webtoon equivalent of One Piece. It’s an amazing story filled with twists and turns that keep you guessing what’s going to happen next. Like I said before, this anime was co-produced by Crunchyroll and Telecom Animation Film a subsidiary of TMS who are responsible for doing the animation for Ducktales, Rescue Rangers, Gargoyles, Batman: The Animated Series, and Animaniacs (basically some of the best cartoons from the 90s were done by these guys). Did this anime usher in a new era of anime? Let’s take a look. This is Tower of God.

Opening and Ending Theme

For the anime’s opening we have “Top” by Stray Kids. Hands down one of my favorite openings from 2020. If you had any reservations about K-Pop, listen to this song. You will become an instant fan. This song always got me hyped for an episode and the amazing part is they actually sang this song in three different languages (Korean, Japanese, and English). The animation and song do a good job not giving much away about the anime. Not even telling you what the plot of the series is. All you can do is just tune in and check it out.

The ending is “SLUMP” by Stray Kids. Very pleasant and quite emotional without going over the top and being subtle. A lot of fans have said they like the ending more than the opening, but I kind of liked the opening more. There’s no denying this song definitely hits hard especially after the last episode.

Episodes 1-4

The anime opens up with the Tower of God (aka Tower of Babel) where anything you wish for can come true if you reach the top. We focus on a boy named Bam voiced by Taichi Ichikawa and a girl named Rachel voiced by Saori Hayami (Yor from Spy x Family) who has decided to climb the tower much to Bam’s dismay. Bam tries to stop her, but is too late and follows in after her (scene here: https://youtu.be/gibFsM5TAmA). Bam wakes up inside the tower where he’s greeted by the caretaker Headon who tells him that Rachel has already moved on (she moves fast). In order for Bam to climb the tower, he has to pass the test given to him and his test is breaking a black ball in a pool of water all while avoiding a giant creature known as the white steel eel. As he’s about to head into the pool he gets stopped by Yuri, princess of Jahad, and her aide Evan. Yuri tries to get him to go home for his own safety, but Bam won’t back down. Headon convinces Yuri to lend Bam the Black March, a sword that can cut through anything when used correctly. After receiving Black March, Bam enters the pool and gets immediately eaten by the eel and dies (short anime). Nope, he’s still alive, he manages to hurt the eel from the inside and then heads toward the ball trying to break it. Bam calls out to the spirit of the sword which appears in the form of a blonde woman who grants him the power to break the ball because he has a cute face (I’m pretty sure he’s underage lady. Scenes here: https://youtu.be/3LJTO7HCdHg and https://youtu.be/gMe2HaitXDU). Once the ball gets broken, Bam ascends up to the next level for the second test which is a battle royale between him and 400 other people. The test ends when only 200 people are left standing or time runs out. The test begins where within only a few seconds over a hundred people/creatures die (man, not even real battle royales have that many drops). Bam finds himself surrounded and he has no training whatsoever.

In episode 2 Bam gets saved by another human named Khun voiced by Nobuhiko Okamoto (Katsuki from My Hero Academia) who takes an interest in Bam because of Black March (are you sure it’s not because he has a cute face? I’m just saying, two girls have already helped him out and it’s all because he had a cute face). The two manage to escape their pursuer which is a lizardman named Rak voiced by Kenta Miyake (All Might from My Hero Academia) who wants to fight strong opponents and decides to hide and wait out the royale. While they wait, Bam and Khun form an alliance and when Rak finally finds them an announcement goes off telling them to stop fighting as there’s now only 200 people. Everyone is told to form teams of 3 where Rak doesn’t want to be in a team, so Bam and Khun have to trick him (or rather force him) to be in their team (scene here: https://youtu.be/SlpNydufe7Y, they caught a wild Rak). With this all 3 of them move on to the next part of the test (for the two that couldn’t form a team. Sucks to be you). The next part of the exam is done by Lero Ro a Ranker who creates a dense wall of water that everyone has to pass through in order to move on to the next test. Everyone gets pushed back by the wall except for Bam as the wall had no effect on him whatsoever and Lero Ro decides to let him pass. As the two wait for everyone else to pass through, Lero Ro decides to answer any questions Bam might have. We learn a few things such as what are Regulars, Rankers, and Irregulars. Regulars are people who are born in the tower and attempt to climb it. Rankers are people who have reached the top of the tower and thus become administrators who give tests to people who wish to climb the tower (and it comes with a 401k plan). Irregulars are people like Bam and Rachel who are born outside the tower and given permission to climb it by Headon because they possess some unique power within them. Lero Ro finishes up his talk with Bam by telling him not to trust Khun and we see a few notable characters begin to pass through the wall including Khun and Rak to end the episode and get things ready for the third test (scene here: https://youtu.be/DiLk_S0zfYU).

In episode 3 Bam, Khun, and Rak move on to the third test which is picking the right door within 10 minutes or be eliminated. Khun tries to think logically on which door is the right one, but it’s honestly impossible as there are no hints or clues on which one is the right door (for guys like Khun, this is his worst nightmare). During this decision we learn a little bit about Khun’s past. Apparently, the guy was in a relationship with a royal candidate, but once she was named princess she betrayed him and exiled Khun and his family (damn, she cold). It was from that day that Khun’s family decided that they would trust no one ever again and Khun took this to heart never forgetting the family motto. Rak growing impatient just opens a door on instinct and it’s the right door as all of the doors were right. The goal of the test was to open a door within 5 minutes and the lesson being that sometimes you’ve gotta stop hesitating, go with the flow, and take a leap of faith (in short, trust people. Scene here: https://youtu.be/UINDrapw72s). They move on to the next area where they befriend another human named Shibisu a not so powerful karate expert (who reminds of Dan from Street Fighters) who’s on the same team as Anaak a powerful lizard girl and Hatz a powerful swordsman (geez, just like Bam he’s a level 10 player hanging out with level 70 players). Lero Ro comes out and announces a bonus test that is completely voluntary with the prize being whoever wins will be allowed to climb the tower. Everyone agrees to participate where the game is capture the crown. Two teams will enter at a time and the goal is to claim the crown for your team while incapacitating the other. The team that wins the crown will have one of their teammates sit on a throne while the other two defend them from attackers (protecting the king). The teammate with the crown is not allowed to leave the throne or risk getting their team and the other teams for that round eliminated from the test. The team with the crown at the end of 5 rounds wins. Shibisu’s team volunteers to go first followed by another team where Anaak single-handedly defeats the other team and sits on top of the throne with the crown (scene here: https://youtu.be/spo6lg7d2hc, God save the lizard girl). The episode ends with Bam seeing the member from another team he believes to be Rachel.

The fight for the crown continues in episode 4 as two teams participate in round 2 to get the crown. Hatz easily defeats one of the teams, but the other team of Serena, Hoh, and Lauroe have a trick up their sleeve. Lauroe is a wave controller and can use the mystic power of shinsu. Lauroe tries to blast Anaak off the throne but has no luck (scene here: https://youtu.be/D7tf-6sjOi8). Anaak uses her sword to attack from afar which forces Lauroe and his team to quit (they choose life). During Anaak’s attack the Black March begins to react to Anaak’s sword and Anaak sensing the Black March leaves her throne and attempts to attack Bam (Bam’s popularity continues to amaze me). It turns out the swords of Bam and Anaak were created by the same person and Anaak is actually a princess of Jahad as well (I have so many questions). Anaak demands Bam hand over Black March or die, but she gets stopped by Lero Ro who disqualifies her and her team. However, Anaak refuses to give up and makes a bet with Bam saying that if he can survive the final round of the crown game she’ll give him her sword Green April. However, if Bam loses he has to hand over Black March and die at the hands of Anaak. In the next round, Bam and the others finally participate and so do a lot of other teams (the lizard is gone, free game now). Khun manages to get the crown before anyone else and defends it for a short time before tossing it and having everyone else fight over it only to reveal that they’ve been fighting over a fake crown and the real crown gets handed to Bam who sits upon the throne.

Episodes 5-8

It’s the finale of the crown game in episode 5. We discover that Khun’s bag can create and copy anything that gets put inside of it which is how he was able to replicate the crown so easily (best business bag ever). With Bam on the throne (God save the MC) Rak easily takes out the other teams single-handedly without touching them. In the fourth round, Bam’s team takes it easy as they have allies for them thanks Khun. Remember that Hunger Games battle in episode 2 (may the odds forever be in your favor)? Well during that battle Khun found a couple of participants and carried them in his bag (the more I hear about this bag the more I want it) on the condition that they help him when the time called for it. They agreed to his demand and Khun got them safely through the next few tests and let them out before the crown game. Bam’s team survives the fourth round and the fifth round begins with the remaining teams coming out to fight where in a shocking twist the team Rachel is on protects Bam (what’s your game?). A dominatrix with a staff manages to reach Bam but Rachel takes a hit for him and when Bam sees her life in danger, he protects Rachel and gets hit hard in the back of the head (well he’s got a concussion. He’s also possibly dead. Seriously, that’s a lot of blood coming out). Somehow Bam activates his powers where he literally becomes shinsu to protect Rachel and destroy the crown (scene here: https://youtu.be/NQ3TyLnMBGo, well there goes the game). When Bam regains consciousness he’s about to slice the dominatrix in half, but Black March stops time and knocks him out (scene here: https://youtu.be/TrZyWSyekH4?t=117). With the crown destroyed the final round is declared a no-contest and everyone is given a 3-day rest to prepare for the next test. During this time Bam remains unconscious in a hospital bed (I really do wonder about the structure of this tower) with Khun watching over him. This episode ends with Rachel coming to visit him.

Episode 6 starts with Rachel asking Khun to convince Bam that she’s not Rachel because she doesn’t want to become his weakness and vice versa (scene here: https://youtu.be/rK-r0o2AKgc). Khun not wanting Bam to feel the same pain he felt lies to Bam about Rachel but Bam being the smart nugget that he is (don’t let his looks fool you) doesn’t buy it. After this the episode takes off as everyone is split up into groups to do some training for their position as the next test will be tower battles. We get told that tower battles are team battles and your position is the role you take on during battles. There are five positions that you can be. The first is the Fisherman which serves as the main attacker for the team. The second is the Spear Bearer who attacks from a distance (I guess they would be the archer/hunter class). The third is Lighter Bearer who serve as the eyes and ears and gather information on the battlefield. The fourth is Scout who investigate enemy movements and provide support to the Fisherman. Finally, there’s the Wave Controller who act as the team strategist and control the flow of battle by using Shinsu. Khun becomes a Lighter Bearer, Rak becomes a Spear Bearer, and Bam becomes a Wave Controller. During Bam’s first training session they get told to make a contract with an Administrator where he forms one with a giant creature (if that creature turns out to be a black turtle I’m going to laugh. Scene here: https://youtu.be/LPKvK2hPsBY). We see that Anaak stays true to her words and took the Black March from Bam which refuses to talk to her (because you know, woman). We learn more about her such as how her mom was actually one of the princesses of Jahad who are basically representatives of strong tribes. Anaak’s mom was killed by the other princesses for abandoning her role as a princess, so Anaak vowed to climb the tower, find all the princesses, and kill them all to avenge her mom. In the latter half of the episode Anaak gets into a confrontation with Endorsi a member of Rachel’s team and a princess of Jahad who presses Anaak’s buttons and the two fight to end the episode.

At the start of episode 7 we finally get some background information on Jahad that everyone keeps talking about. Apparently, Jahad was the first person to climb the tower and after climbing the tower went on to establish his own kingdom. The women of the tribes gave birth to his children who would become the princesses of Jahad. While they’re not Jahad’s biological children and unrelated by blood, these girls would inherit his power and thus become princesses of Jahad. There was only one rule they had to follow, don’t have sex or a child (you mean, you have to decide between a life of absolute power with no sex or death. Tough call). You see this was done to prevent the power of Jahad from spreading. The princesses are basically expensive shoes put on display (you can see them, but you can’t wear them). Anaak’s mom broke this rule and was killed while Annak and Annak’s father got away. Returning to the present time, Annak and Endorsi continue to fight where they take each other out of the game and severely injure each other (scene here: https://youtu.be/vvadyF2GJCk). Both of them use up a majority of their points to seek medical attention (just like in real life medical bills suck) and won’t have enough to buy food. Luckily, Bam, Hatz, and Shibisu offer to buy them food in exchange for the two helping Hatz and Shibisu pass their test (scene here: https://youtu.be/ByiTVk3fzOI). As for Bam’s test, he seems to be doing exceptionally well at becoming a Wave Controller as he’s able to quickly grasp what’s going on which makes Hoh jealous as he looked down on Bam when they started and now he’s the one who’s falling behind. Later on, the group of participants who haven’t passed their test yet will be participating in another test. Rak and Ghost the third member of Rachel’s team passed their test, so they get to sit back and relax (boy, that’s got to piss the others off). The remaining 28 participants will participate in a game of tag and split into teams of 14 where they’ll be graded on their individual performances. In the game only 2 players are ‘it’. One is the individual the administrators have chosen and the other will be selected by the team’s Fishermen. The person who is ‘it’ will have a badge and the team must work together to get their ‘it’ to the goal or steal the other team’s ‘it’. Bam is on a separate team from Khun, Hatz, Anaak, and Shibisu (oh come on, you’re breaking up the band. Don’t be Yoko). For Bam’s team their ‘it’ is the examiner Quant a man who is quick to anger and goes overboard with stuff. For Khun’s team they make Anaak ‘it’. In the opening moments of the game, Khun’s team lures out Quant by using Shibisu as bait which works and tries to catch him but Quant manages to counter their attack and he’s mad (scene here: https://youtu.be/sbJ8RqPfUSA).

Episode 8 focuses on the majority of Khun’s team test against Quant. After the surprise attack fails, Khun’s team goes to plan B which is covering Anaak as she heads toward the exit (that should have been plan A). The team knows they can’t defeat a ranker, so their only hope is to stall him long enough for Anaak to reach the exit. Quant easily gets through everyone (they didn’t even last a minute). When Quant reaches the exit, he doesn’t see Anaak and is greeted by Khun who claims that Anaak jumped down to the exit below. Quant doesn’t believe his story, so he jumps off the bridge with Khun just like Khun predicted he would do. In truth, Anaak was sitting on Khun’s cube on the opposite side of the bridge. Using her sword, she grabs Khun to save him from falling and pulls herself up all while lowering Khun safely to the ground. Just when Quant is ready to accept his defeat he gets approached by Khun and Lauroe who help him make it back up top and he steals Anaak’s badge to win the game. Now you’re probably thinking Khun betrayed his team, but nope he didn’t betray anyone. Remember that friend list Shibisu had to do? That list is Khun’s real team. Since many of them are on team B, Khun had to leave hints for them on how to pass. Khun, Anaak, Shibisu, and Lauroe are guaranteed to pass now all they need to do is wait and have faith that Bam and the others can pass. Team B gets set to go with Endorsi as the ‘it’ for their team.

Episodes 9-13

Boy, talk about a drama filled episode. I’m not gonna be able to do this episode justice, but here’s the jist of what happened. Hoh takes Rachel hostage in an effort to get Bam to quit. A few episodes back Hoh received a letter telling him that if he wants to climb the tower, he has to get rid of Bam not knowing that he was tricked (and now he looks like a fool). He gets cornered by Bam and Quant where Bam stops Hoh in his tracks by freezing him with a move he learned from watching Quant (a move that took Quant 60 years to master). However, it’s too late as Rachel got stabbed in the back and Hoh overcome with guilt and his own weak self decides to kill himself (scene here: https://youtu.be/DXhzGyEA9Y8). Endorsi shows up to take on Quant where she manages to get his badge and give the team the win.

A lot happens in episode 10. The group gives Hoh a proper burial and Serena leaves the tower as she realizes she can’t go any further. We find out that Rachel’s wound was deeper than they originally thought and she’s become paralyzed from the waist down. She also admits to Bam that she abandoned him in order to see the stars (bitch move Rachel. Bitch move). Bam forgives her because despite everything she’s done, she was still the light in his dark world (scene here: https://youtu.be/B1xG5ReRi1E, aww~, that’s nice). Bam decides he’s going to keep climbing the tower for Rachel, deciding to be her legs to reach the top. The test results come in where we see Bam and the others pass, but Rachel has to unfortunately drop out because of her condition. Khun tries to take the administrator’s test in order to change the rules and allow Rachel to climb, but only irregulars can take the test, so Bam says he’ll take the test as he’s an irregular. So what is an irregular you ask. Basically, everybody who came to the tower was invited. Irregulars on the other hand weren’t invited, they came into the tower of their own free will thus breaking the tower’s rules. It’s also said that great calamity strikes the tower and everyone in it whenever an irregular appears. The group now has two choices to consider. If they want they can continue to climb the tower with Bam which will give them the shortest and quickest route to the top of the tower. However, they’ll be considered accomplices of an irregular and whatever calamity comes to the tower will fall on them. Everyone decides to ignore the warnings of teaming up with an irregular and stick with Bam (he is loved). Bam enters the testing zone where he is greeted by the same giant creature he formed a contract with a few episodes back. We also get this funny moment with Rak (scene here: https://youtu.be/UgxYOmWJLmw. Fun fact, the author changed Rak’s size because he had trouble drawing his original size).

At the start of episode 11 Bam gets permission from the giant creature to take the test along with Rachel. In their test Bam and Rachel will be trapped inside a bubble underwater (https://youtu.be/oFs3lOqr1UE). In their bubble, the two will be hunted down by met dolphins and be fed to their queen who will poop them out. However, goblins will also be hunting fish with giant worms and the remaining characters will need to save Bam and Rachel from being eaten by the worms and protect the dolphins from their natural predators. The group wins if Bam and Rachel get eaten by the dolphin queen and lose if they get eaten by the worms (in the end that’ll just be poop). After this not much happens throughout the episode as everyone lies in wait keeping an eye on the goblins, worms, and dolphins. Shibisu runs into bad luck as he runs into the wild card of this test, the Bull, a fish-like monster of incredible power. He gets saved by Endorsi and Anaak who take turns seeing who can beat it first (I feel bad for that creature. He’s nothing more than a plaything to them). The Bull runs away with Anaak and Endorsi chasing after it. Endorsi finds it where we see it’s a lot stronger than previously because it’s being controlled by a Ranker named Ren a member of the Royal Enforcement Division of Jahaad. He’s been sent to kill Anaak and got her separated by the group to make it look like she died of natural causes. Ren taunts Anaak with her mom’s necklace and this sends Anaak into a blind rage where she gets stabbed through the chest. The Bull arrives with Endorsi and gives her an opportunity to kill Anaak herself. Meanwhile, the goblins and worms begin to move where Paracule jumps the gun and attacks one of the goblins getting their attention and putting his team his jeopardy (feed him to the goblins).

Okay, so, quite the exciting episode for 12. Endorsi refuses to kill Anaak and the two princesses take on Ren together where Yuri shows up to reclaim the Black March as well as Green April (she’s a collector). Back up top, it’s a 4-way battle between the goblins, worms, pigs, and everyone else but on the plus side the dolphins are now safe. Khun gets approached by a member of his family who offers him the chance to see Maria again, but he refuses saying he’s not climbing the tower for her (I climb for my friends). Back down below, Yuri pretty much has Ren overpowered and fearing for his life but she gets told she’s not allowed to kill him. She calms down and says okay, however, her bodyguard does the killing for her (fatality). Yuri takes back the Black March and Green April, and before Ren takes his last breath he tells the group that he sent the Bull after Bam and Rachel. Bam gets eaten by the Bull, but is able to destroy it from within (guess he was too sweet for the Bull). Bam returns to Rachel and just when it seems like everything is going right, Rachel delivers the shock of a lifetime by standing up and pushing Bam out of the sphere (scene here: https://youtu.be/vkCBOdIDy6A, you BITCH! You’re almost as bad as Bitch from Shield Hero).

In the final episode we find out why Rachel betrayed Bam. It turns out she entered the tower by accident. She was never meant to enter the tower at all as she is far too weak (and she’s a bitch as we confirmed last episode). The only reason why she was able to enter the tower in the first place was thanks to Bam as he is the special one, not her. Upon arriving in the tower, Rachel was given the same test as Bam but refused to do it as it was impossible for her (cowardly bitch). Bam on the other hand passed the test with flying colors and continued to climb the tower with Rachel begging Headon to let her climb. He strikes a deal with her saying that he’ll let her climb if she can kill Bam (scene here: https://youtu.be/hPcxrCVAKkw). She agrees to do this and is given a bodyguard to help her climb where she was reunited with Bam but a part of her couldn’t kill him (it’s like asking a child to kill their puppy or kitten). As she continued to be around Bam her jealousy for him grew with each passing day. You see Rachel doesn’t want to see the stars she wants to become one, the brightest star imaginable. She wants everything that Bam has and is ready to do anything to get it. So she waited for her moment to attack Bam by staying close to him and when the opportunity finally arrived she betrayed him (and becoming the biggest bitch in this anime). Everyone passes the test but Bam who has disappeared on them and is considered dead. However, we see that he’s not dead and is very much alive. Bam gets discovered by that one girl who knocked him out in the crown game who was a part of this whole scheme with Rachel in order to climb the tower as well. Once Bam wakes back up he remembers what happened (revenge~) and gets back up prepared to climb the tower once again to get the answers he seeks with that girl offering to train him. We end the season with a mysterious figure who got done defeating a monster (scene here: https://youtu.be/cXNc7aiUaFA).

Final Thoughts

Wow, I am impressed. No joke, I am very impressed with this series. Going into this series I knew nothing about it other than the fact that it was a very popular webtoon and after watching this anime I can say I’m hooked. The storytelling is great here and the world they’re building along with the characters are great. Bam is like innocence personified. He’s very trusting, naïve, and has a good heart. He has tremendous powers and the ability to attract interesting people around him who all have their distinct personalities, designs, and reasons for climbing the tower. As much as I hate Rachel for betraying Bam the way she did I can’t see her as a villain, but rather as a person whose true personality is hidden by a mask. She’s a weak character so therefore has to use every underhanded trick in the book in order to climb the tower even if that means betraying the person who cares for her the most. Like I said before the other characters are great as well and each one could have easily worked as the main character aside from Bam. Khun’s backstory into how he was betrayed is sad and him trying to find something new while trying to move on is interesting. I’m curious to learn more about his past as so far, he’s my favorite character. Rak’s character was funny. He’s a muscle-headed warrior but at the same time is serious about his strength as well as respects and recognizes the abilities of others who may not be as strong as him but are smarter and cleverer than him. The friendship/rivalry between Anaak and Endorsi was good and funny. They may not like each other, but they do respect the strength of each other. The rest of the other characters are interesting as well but sadly we don’t get enough time to focus on them or explore them as you would have liked which kind of leads to the major problem with the anime. There’s a lot of stuff they throw at us and it becomes hard to take everyone and everything in. It becomes hard to follow and keep track of everyone that we come across in the anime that it can be confusing at times. Still interesting but confusing.

While the animation isn’t stellar I still liked it and think it looks very good. There’s a good mixture of hand-drawn and digital animation fused together to bring the anime to life. It has a unique look that helps it stand out from other anime. There was definitely a lot of passion, time, and energy put into this anime and I have to applaud everyone’s effort on it. The soundtrack is very godly, no pun intended. Each track just feels epic and majestic as well as captures the weight and emotions of what’s going in the scene. While I wanted to see some more fight/action scenes, the fight scenes we got to see were good, exciting, and action-packed. I like how each one has their own fighting style and will employ various strategies and tricks to achieve victory. It makes each fight/action scene feel different and unique than the previous one and makes them worth going back and checking out.

Final Score

My final score for Tower of God is a 9/10 with a must watch stamp of approval. Aside from being confused and having a hard time keeping track of things a few times, this was a great series and I’m proud to say I’ve become a fan. If you haven’t checked this anime out yet, definitely give it a watch and then check out the webtoon. I started reading the webtoon after the anime and man does it get interesting with each passing chapter. A second season has been announced for this year and all I can say is I’m excited and can’t wait to watch it. Thanks for reading and I’ll see you next time on Project Nitsuj.
