Record 6: The Black Tortoise Order

(Morrison): The final order within the kingdom of Brister. Better known as the Black Knights, the Black Tortoise Order is responsible for many functions within the kingdom. For starters, it serves as the Internal Affairs office overseeing and investigating the inner workings of the other orders and businesses to make sure everything is on the up and up. It also handles the distribution of funds to all the orders giving them a yearly budget that they can use to improve their orders. The second responsibility of the order is to provide a helping hand where needed. The Black Knights serve as backup for the White Knights on cases and missions as well as lend a helping hand to the other orders when necessary. Serving as advisors and consultants to local businesses is also a service that we provide and we also help nonprofit organizations and schools. Their third responsibility is serving as a voice for the citizens. The order is always open and listens to the complaints, concerns, and ideas of its citizens.

Out of all the orders, the Black Tortoise is the only one that allows normal citizens to join. Usually, you require a knight’s license to join an order, but since the Black Tortoise is mostly office and intel work, normal citizens are allowed to apply. However, they are required to take self-defense classes and are prohibited from engaging in any dangerous missions until their training is complete. The order is under the command of me, Morrison Lamorak better known as the Conductor of Storms. I was a valued strategist for the Blue Dragon Order, but I decided to retire and established the Black Tortoise Order. In the past, internal affairs fell under the control of the White Tiger Knights. However, they decided to focus strictly on police work and handed internal affairs over to me which I used to establish the Black Tortoise Order. Making us the youngest order in the kingdom at only five years old. Through our order, the rest of the orders have been able to function more properly and focus on their essential tasks. While they still have paperwork to handle it’s not as much or as complicated as it was before. So there you have it. The Four Orders of the kingdom. The Tiger and the Tortoise watch over the kingdom from within, while the Dragon and Bird watch over the walls and the land surrounding it. While all these orders are great I believe it’s important to keep a watchful eye from the shadows on all of them and make sure nothing can harm the system from within.
