(Jade): The earth, it’s around us. For demihumans, the lands we live on and the forests we see are all creations of the goddess herself, Midori. Said to be soft-spoken and a little clumsy, Midori is the one god demihumans have a close connection to. Why, because she’s a demihuman herself. It was said that whenever a demihuman found themselves in danger, Midori would send her champion the Blood Moon to protect them from harm. It was also said she could morph into any animal or demihuman she chooses because the very DNA of animals and demihumans comes from her.
Out of all the gods Midori was the most mysterious of the bunch. Not many stories are known about her. She wasn’t much of a fighter but was said to have amazing healing skills. Whenever the gods were injured she would use her medical knowledge to heal them within seconds. It was even said she could revive the dead with the right herbs from her personal garden. The only time when people believed she fought was during the formation of Carnivale. It was said that she summoned an army of stone animals to fight against humans and Eclipses. Crushing them all and giving the land to the demihumans. An event that demihumans named The Stampede. Rumor has it she left this army behind for demihumans to use in case they found themselves in danger ever again, but nobody’s been able to find it and personally I think it’s all one big fairy tale.
