*It’s a bright early morning as Nitsuj is on an AIA RV heading for Orlando which is the next stop of the Anifest tour. Brian is driving the RV, Mira is reading a book, Yin-Yang is meditating, Yume is reading Twitter comments, Seras is taking a nap, Chibi Isis is studying with the Jack Bros., Shizuku and Isis are playing a game, and Nitsuj and Ashlyn are getting chewed out by Danny via skype over the events from last night*
(Danny): Listen, we’ve all done things at a con party we’re not too proud of, but that riot was unacceptable.
(Nitsuj): Unacceptable, did you see the pool!? They flipped the bitch!
(Danny): Will you take this seriously! Honestly, if you were the least bit serious about this situation you would know that we don’t have time for silly stunts like this. We’re on a tight schedule here. After Orlando we go to Atlanta, San Antonio, Chicago, Las Vegas, and finally San Francisco. This isn’t the time to be playing around.
(Nitsuj): I agree, and I am taking this seriously. While I was out last night the rest of the group was checking out two other reviewers. Yin-Yang.
*Yin-Yang gets up from her meditating*
(Yin-Yang): Last night, Chibi and I went to investigate Atlus Star the sci-fi anime reviewer. We snuck into his room while he was out and search all of his belongings as well as emails and phone history. He’s clean.
(Nitsuj): Yume, how was your investigation with Seras?
(Yume): Seras and I managed to get Shadypox to do an interview with us. I managed to put him in a dreamlike trance and got him to talk in his sleep where he had made no contact with the weeaboos at all nor does he know anything about Revolutionary Girl Utena. We also checked his room to make sure he wasn’t lying and once again found nothing. In the end, he’s innocent.
(Nitsuj): There you have it. At the end of the first con we’ve eliminated 3 suspects and captured Malcom who will talk as soon as he regains consciousness.
(Danny): He won’t. That dart contained a toxin which wipes the mind of people. Malcom doesn’t remember anything from the last 24 hours so he’s useless to us. You may have been investigating but you’ve made no headway in cracking this case so get to it and I don’t want anything from last night happening again. Understood?
(Nitsuj): Yes, I get it alright. It won’t happen again, I promise.
(Danny): It better not. If it does I’m pulling you off this case immediately.
*Danny logs off of skype*
(Nitsuj): Well that could have gone better.
(Ashlyn): I’m so sorry. I should have told Danny I started the riot.
(Nitsuj): Nah, don’t worry about it. You’re a full-time worker so the consequences would have been a lot more serious. But for me, I’m a part-timer so he really can’t hurt me.
(Brian): Yeah but he’s still right, we haven’t made a dent in this case at all even after all this investigation.
(Nitsuj): Threat not Brian. Rome wasn’t built in a day. We’ll find our target. However, we’ll need to try harder from here on out. Now that the weeaboos know we can defeat their AIs they’ll be a lot more cautious from here on out. But what really has me worried is Malcom’s exert from last night. A danger that could destroy the western market of anime. What are the weeaboos planning?
*Yume screams*
(Ashlyn): What is it?
*Yume points to a tweet sent out by Nate Dessian which shows him and Yume in a picture together and he’s saying that Yume is his girlfriend.
(Mira): Well Yume this is a surprise.
(Baron): I’m so jealous I want to kill him.
(Yume): That’s a lie! There’s no way I would date a man like that!
*Nitsuj looks further down the tweet and sees that according to Nate, Nitsuj approves this*
(Nitsuj): That’s a load of crap! There’s no way I would greenlight this! When I get my hands on that bastard I’ll-
(Ashlyn): Nitsuj! His dad is sponsoring this event, you can’t touch him.
(Nitsuj): He’s slandering my name and spreading false rumors. You expect me to just sit back and do nothing?
(Ashlyn): Yes. I know how you feel but we really need to have a good relationship with the Dessians.
(Nitsuj): Why?
(Ashlyn): We need his money. We were told to keep this a secret but you deserve to know. The AIA is in trouble moneywise. Funding from Uncle Sam has gone down pretty badly and our new president doesn’t really care for our division. That’s when Dessian showed up and offered to sponsor us as well as introduce us to some potential investors. It’s no joke when I say this entire mission holds the future of our organization at stake. That’s why I was so desperate to get you on this mission. With Cole gone you’re the only person I can think of who can crack this case. So please Nitsuj, I know his son’s a jackass but for the sake of the organization and for all of us could you not harm him and focus on the mission?
*Nitsuj takes a deep breath*
(Nitsuj): Alright, for you guys I won’t harm him. But that picture needs to be taken down.
(Ashlyn): We’ll talk to him about it. I promise.
(Nitsuj): Now who’s our next target in the investigation?
(Ashlyn): Our next target is Matt and Margaret. Married couple. 3 years now. Met at a con a few years back and became abridgers. They’ve abridged Steins; Gate, Rosario + Vampire, and are making plans to abridge Drifters.
(Isis): That’s cool. So who will we be investigating?
(Ashlyn): Instead of investigating this time around I was hoping you guys would instead keep an eye on a panel. A few executives from Pixar will be making a guest appearance at the con and discussing their involvement with the dubbing of Studio Ghibli films and how they inspired some of Pixar’s movies. We’ve heard threats of the weeaboos trying to sabotage the event. Chances are they might send one of those AIs and if so you’re the only ones who stand a chance of taking them down.
(Yin-Yang): Alright. If there’s an AI showing up I’m going.
(Seras): I’ll go too.
(Shizuku): Same here. You’ll need a brawler for this kind of situation.
(Isis): Since you three are loose cannons I’ll come along to keep you from going out of control.
(Yume): I’ll come along as well. I’m quite interested in the panel. Plus I can provide cover in case things get out of control.
(Chibi Isis): I’m going too. Because I. . .I. . .I-
(Isis): You want to go because you’re a fan of Studio Ghibli and don’t want to miss out on this panel.
(Chibi Isis): No! . . .Yes.
*Chibi blushes from embarrassment and covers her face*
(Yin-Yang): Fine, you can come. Who are we to deny you of your joy. Just be sure to help if things get crazy.
(Chibi Isis): Yaaay!
(Nitsuj): Well it looks like the Jack Bros. and Mira are with us. You guys okay with that?
(Mira): No problems here.
(Corbin): Anything to check out the sights.
(Baron): And socialize with hot cosplayers.
(Nitsuj): Alright. We all know what to do. So let’s get out there and do it. How much longer to Orlando Brian?
(Brian): We’ll be there within less than an hour.
(Nitsuj): Full speed ahead. I’m wishing upon a star and I’m wishing to kick some weeaboo ass.
